Thats it, at my age and distance to the Sol. I don't think I will be back again. They have had many decades of my life. As Freddie said " time to break free ".
I said the same in November at my last game. I don't miss it one bit, it's become a chore going to games and then this rigmarole has cemented it for me.
They have given thousands the perfect opportunity to pack it all in. Many who state they won't go back until X or y leaves just won't end up going back. I've seen it before with supporters of this and other clubs. I can't imagine I'll stay away but for many they will unless things really turn around and we end up in the top flight one again, but that could be many many years away. This will comfortably be the longest we've spent outside the top flight and at this rate we could end up being in this ****ing league as long as the longest spell we've had outside the top division. We've already had 3 outside the top flight, only 3 more to go until we equal our worst EVER run to match our worst EVER seasons.
It’s easy for me to say I would stay away but if I still lived up there i think would be there every week. What gets me is my boys 4-6 the years where I’d of hoped to get them into it and we are ****e. It’s hard down here when all the kids support the Likes of Chelsea Arsenal Spurs and we aren’t in even in the Premiership
I have not watched a stitch of footy since I took my dad to the Coventry match in Quinn’s bar and we know the total disregard the club had for us on what would be the last time I would ever see him, then the whole refund thing cemented the fact that this regime doesn’t give a flying **** about the paying supporters
