Didn`t you have several defenders out for ages in the first half of the season too ? No luck in that department.
Was really unsure of how this would go as it isn't as if we can go on form! But seeing the norwich injury list does give me hope - surely Ings will enjoy playing against a makeshift defence!
Anyone have an idea of who will be in defence for Norwich? If we were missing a RB and two CBs our defence would probably be this: Walker-Peters, Vestergaard, Danso, Bertrand
Whoo Hoo! I'm getting an early train to London for a few pints, then on to Norwich for...Oh, wait. OK I'll put the telly on at 4:00 for the build up and chats with the fans...No, hang on... I'll switch on at 6:00, fall aslseep and wonder why I bothered. Unless we we win, of course
I’ll be at work. We usually win when I’m at work, or at least play well. It’s when I’m at the game that we are disjointed, error prone, and unable to locate our strikers with GPS and a map. Hoping for a good end to the season.
Lewis, Godfrey, Klose, Aarons. Klose hasn't played a competitive game for over a year so will be interesting to see how he partners up with Godfrey. Lewis and Aarons love to bomb forward, Godfrey can pick a pass (used to be a midfielder). Enjoy the game.
I used to love tractors. Then one day I took a deep breath and sucked them up. You could say I am an ex-tractor fan
I don’t know about their injuries, but in Germany, after 4 matches had been played after the covid shut down, injuries were 225% higher than they would expect at the start of a normal season. I would guess trying to step up the training level too quickly, might have something to do with it.
The 2004 game was one of the best atmospheres I've ever seen at St Mary's. I haven't seen that in years. Thanks for finding that
Anyway, I hope you're all well and keeping safe during these weird times. I'm predicting a really weird game. 1-0 either way (have we ever won on a Fri night?)
2005 but agree completely. Ground was actually shaking when Camara scored the winner, and I was in the family section.
Normally are when we play Norwich actually. Can think of a few entertaining matches against them over the years.
You weren’t at the League Cup game a few years back then, when a late Nathan Redmond goal saved us all from the misery of extra time?
