As far as I know I think there are still thousands on the season ticket waiting list, I'm sure most games are sold out.
I gues there is an aspiration for the club to cement it in the upper Prem... It may seem rarely sold out but it is very diff to get tickets unless you are B on the system.... a lot of my friends never come as they are now living away from the area.... Plus all the new and casual supporters, the neutrals and bigger away support....... i think we could average the mid 20s if we stay up...... so another 5k a game....
Yes that is true but it seems some don't always turn up - mainly in the Family stand but a new ground and consistent top flight football might change that.
Next 3 games. Chelsea v Watford, Saturday July 4, 8pm Sky Sports Watford v Norwich City, Tuesday July 7, 6pm Sky Sports (and pick ) Watford v Newcastle United, Saturday July 11, 12.30pm Amazon Prime
The club are already trying to encourage season ticket holders to regularly turn up. One of the problems could be due to the reasonable cost of season tickets compared to near by London clubs. Some supporters of these clubs could use WFC as their second team, just turning up for the big games or when it suits.
If the club moves, they need to get the transport links sorted. It's the biggest bugbear for me at The Vic, and I can't see how the proposed site will help... well it won't help me as my interchange is Rickmansworth. I reckon that the mayor of London keboshing the underground loop / extension has a lot to do with the Pozzo's thinking.
Some of you might get an e-Mail from the club saying you can use this to upload a free BT card for the game on Saturday to watch on the App. https://matchpass.bt.com/?utm_sourc...=bt_sport_match_passes&utm_content=2020-06-18
Brilliant - not ! I have just purchased BT sport for the sole purpose of watching WFC ! Bah ! Still, it's the cancellable version, and I suppose I shall have to watch other games to make it worth it. What's really irritating is that I wrote to the club asking if they were considering this, and got no reply. Still, in the overall scheme of things it's not worth getting cross about - not like if villa pip us to staying up by a point or by GD after last nights shambles. Mind you, 3 points from Arsenal looks quite likely.
my email from the club just arrived with password, BT Sport login will be emailed to me at least 2 hours before kick-off.
Success/Janmaat out for the season . https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-watford-concentrate-premier-league-survival/
and there goes the one chance we had of offloading Success don't wish injury on anyone mind. Janmaat, for him and us, that is a shame. He had a good playing record before he joined us - then wham. I guess Del Boy is out for the season too.
True but then Success isn't that good and Jaamaat been injured for a whille. Both contracted for a year or two so do need to be fit to prove their worth.
Pereyra has apparently just confirmed that he's off at the end of the season. A season or two back that would have upset me - but now I'm thinking 'surely we can find a better replacement.'
His former manager who said Success should move will be disappointed. Does Janmaat have a chronic knee injury? - always seems to get a long term one each season. We do seem to have a habit of having players who suffer them struggling to comeback. Hopefully GD doesn't suffer the same !
