    2.05 Sandown

    2.40 Sandown
    Lazuli
    3.35 Newbury
King Of Comedy surely wins this.

Saturday morning, and I might just take a stroll up to the shops and buy a Racing Post - just like Saturdays of old.

I don’t need an RP to tell me to back Franconia in the 3.00 at Newbury though

My day revolves around Tsar (12:15), Joyful Mission (3:25) and Gossip (12:30).

However my biggest bet of the day is Tabarrak each way in the Diomed. I have him as second best horse in the race, which is what Timeform and RP ratings have him at too.

He is joint third in the market, and is therefore value for me. Add in King Of Comedy is a rogue of epic proportions and that is the top rated and favourite in the market and I think Tabarrak is a nice bet today.

Also unbeaten at Newbury on 3 starts albeit over 7 furlongs. Not sure he s got a good record first time out though. An interesting little race..

I quite like the top two in this but probably just prefer Century Dream who has some good form, has had a wind op and has James Doyle in the saddle.

Darn it, Marie’s Diamond is a non runner, which is a major shame as I thought that horse was so underpriced.

    Morning....

In that 3pm race I fancy Cabaletta but probably sit that one out. So just the one bet for me today:

Newbury 3.35pm Century Dream 10/1 each way. Has a good record fresh, some decent form in the book, likes some cut, has won at the course and has James Doyle on board. Big chance especially if wind op has had the desired effect.

    Good luck all.

    Morning all.

    Two for me today

IMPRESSOR 2.05 Sandown 9/2. I think this is a nice horse and hopefully he will pick up a group race at some point this season. Don’t know if anyone has the stats handy but Tregoning seems to have made a decent enough start to the season with the horses he has managed to run.

EDRAAK 2.15 Doncaster 2/1. I was really impressed with this horse at Newcastle. The extra furlong shouldn’t be a problem and I will be disappointed if he isn’t up to winning off 83.

    Good luck :)

So who wins the the big one Tnite- for me ALBIGNA the one to beat!! She was a big 2yo last year and well clear on the ratings! I know they are well over 6months old but very few of Jessica horses don’t train on. Stable is bang in form too. And I just love the horse too!! <laugh>

Better cash out on Edraak RV, that's one of my best bets for the day.

    Morning all,

Will be following Oisin Murphy at Doncaster and Will Buick at Sandown today, Frankie to get the double at Newbury.

Couple of horses that have had a recent run will do for me today, EDRAAK (sorry RV), LAZULAI and MISS CELESTIAL. Also like BLAME IT ON SALLY and Mark Johnston's now only runner at Newbury, GOLD SOUK.
