    I dont think he's the kinda striker we need anyway, much better off getting Kuqi and waiting till the summer to get someone decent

    He's probably looking at the £35 Million brought in off of Carroll and thought, their desperate I'll push for a daft wage!!!!

    If that is his attitude he can gan **** right off, we've had enough of those kind of players!!!

    Kuqi isn't a world beater but get the impression he is only here to be back up for injuries etc.

    I'm actually happy that he has turned us down as he'd take far too long to acclimatise to the game especially if he's considered just a stop gap signing until the end of the season.

    He wanted a longer contract because he's 29 and realistically has a few good years left in him while we just wanted a stop gap. Wages will probably have been an issue as well. Also doesnt he have no PL experience?
