    3.20 Stringybark Creek - I won't post the price I took.

The horse is 3 from 6 at the course and importantly he doesn't need to lead, but he will be up with the pace. His last win here gives a good example of why I like him, the Timeform report is "confirmed promise of last run (strong form) to get off the mark for the season, looking better than ever at the age of 5 as he dominated a largely in-form set of rivals; prominent, went with enthusiasm, led after 2f, ridden under 2f out, kept going well; he'll continue to give a good account"

I expect he will be in the vanguard from the off and hopefully Eddie Greatrex angles slightly to go around How Bizarre if that one does get to the front early. My concern would be that if he got boxed in from that stall. Hopefully racing prominently will solve that.

I don’t think so, given Stringy doesn’t need to lead. It’s a course that you want to be with the pace at that trip and being drawn low he should be able to conserve some energy.

Cracking Class 5 race at Newbury tomorrow
We have the Golden Horn Filly Gold Wand who was beaten only a nk by Oaks fancy Domino Darling back in October (heavy ground) and the two were 4l clear of the 3rd. Then we have the 2 Gosden debutants, both sired by Frankel. In particular, Portrush who is a half sister to Enable who was, of course, sired by the horse who got closest to Frankel, Nathaniel. Gold Wand will need to be impressive for Domino Darling to cement her place as 3rd fav for the Oaks. But what if Portrush wins impressively. Interesting

In the 1.30 at Gowran Park I like the look of Pixel Power.

A daughter of Dream Ahead, she made a decent start when second at Limerick but was disappointing at Dundalk next time when favourite. She was short of room that day and got checked after a furlong and it seemed she could not pick up when asked in the closing stages. The winner of her previous race went on to race in the USA and was rated over 100 for efforts that included a 6th place in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Not much love from the tipsters today but with the Harrington stable in form I thought Pixel Power would be tough to beat based on her first effort if forgiving her second run. The 7F today looks ideal for her.

1.30 Gowran Park Pixel Power 10/3

hi fellas! hope, youre in good and healthy spirits!

    beverley,12 45:

not easy,as only two fillys have a run under their belt, but it could make a big difference today.its NOTSASGOODASAWINK for me,and she could well come good today.interestingly, she only ran about a week ago,and despite not setting the world alight there, experience counts a lot in these races.also ben curtis riding is probably another key sign, whats expected today..trainer knows the family very well too,so can go well..
