Making a bit of an assumption there, matey! I pay £408 for my S/T. There are cheaper 'regular' season tickets in the ESU. So many OAPs actually pay more than 'regular' season ticket holders.

The tv package should have been available across the board. The alteration to the package could have been a reduced retail voucher, as OAPs are offered a £100 voucher compare to the £50 'regular' package voucher.

More than anything, I just want to understand why they though the priority for OAPs was a retail voucher, rather than watching football. It seems to have escaped their notice that we bought the S/T to do precisely that - watch football!! How can any official at the club think anything else? I want the clown named & shamed.

Honestly I get were you're coming from.

Your refund will equate to £88 and then it's up to you whether or not to subscibe to LUTV and pay the £90 for 9 matches. Like me you probably won't as many of them will be shown on Sky or you can use your VPN and only pay the £5 per match overseas viewer fee.

It seems the club have tried to give value for money but unfortunately they've overlooked the silver pound section of our support on this occasion. It's not that you've been financially mistreated but it could have been thought through a little better.

All packages (apart from pro rata refund) should have involved access to view our matches on LUTV, as you say to do otherwise is just nonsensical.

be a lot cheaper than a stand of shaks cut outs ..allegedly

if we had a stand of WJs and a stand of Chesh's, they could have an argument afterwards about whether they were made of cardboard or hardboard and which stand sang the loudest.

Got a satisfactory response from Angus already!

    Neil,

Thanks for your email and the constructive feedback. This is an error that we spent yesterday fixing and you will receive an email today with a solution so that you have a ‘watching’ option.Apologies for not getting it right first time. Hopefully we have now got our mistakes out of the way and can win the remaining nine games!

    Great news, common sense prevails

Thankfully our club has listened to our loyal fanbase, they must have received many complaints!

Just hope LUTV doesn't crash with what will be a huge demand on their software

    Morning Jonny,

Thanks for your email. Yes we are acutely aware of the challenge. The service is actually delivered by the EFL through their ifollow platform and we are working with them and their technical partners in trying to ensure that the bandwidth is big enough and the technology robust enough. We know how important it is for our supporter to get right.

Oh dear. Said I personally wasn't too fussed as a posh bloke on NOT606 called Jammy always managed to find us dodgy links for games anyway. Didn't post his 'P.S'., but it was along the lines of 'we're on to him. Someone called @ellandback dobbed him in'. <whistle>

    Thanks chesh.

Received mine yesterday and there was a generous option to have a credit note + 20% and watch the matches on LUTV, however I've declined and requested the pro rata refund.

Reason being, the credit note was to be used for hosptality tickets for season 2020/21. I've already paid for ST for 2020/21 and while it would be nice to buy a few for friends my feeling is they will be very scarce if we were to get promoted. If the option to use the credit note had included future ST purchases then I would have taken it to help the club but it didn't.

Have you decided which option to take ?
