Think you are about spot on with your selections. Have we any youngsters that we could bring into the team. It seems other teams bring kids on but we are always reluctant to give them a chance. Far better someone that wants to play than the donkeys we have signed over the last few years.

I don’t rate Dobson at all.

He’s a trier, but his touch and the way he carries the ball are incredibly awkward. I can’t see him getting games if we are playing well.

I try and watch the u23s when I can and there's not much there sadly. Kimpioka looks to be off, Mumba really hasn't progressed much this year which is a huge disappointment. I suppose you have to look at the likes of Robson and Embleton, if they're ever going to have a decent career in the game they need this to be their season for becoming established. Both seem decent, although not sure they're likely to be key players, I like Embleton (2 footed, decent passer, takes a decent set piece) mind

There's loads saying keep Jon McLaugjlin - Have to say I've not been impressed with him this season. Last season he was very good but this he's made so many errors in positioning etc.

Also think we activated a clause in O'Nien's contract which added another 2 years on

Bailey Wright and Jordan Willis we've got to try to hold on to. Willis I think will play at a much higher level than League 1. Would love it to be with us but can't see it!

Not sure what folks see in Willis. I think he would be a major liability in he Championship.

Willis is quick, he accelerates well but his top speed is well below the attackers he chases.

He jumps like a high jumper. He can attack a corner on the offensive end, if he gets a running start and takes off on one leg, but as a two footed leaper he has no elevation. He seldom lines up between the posts when we are defending corners unless he is part of a double team.

I liked him on the outside of a back three but his lack of skill on the ball was conspicuous out there.

As a sweeper, he irked me to no end: sweep left, kick the ball out of bounds, sweep right, kick the ball out of bounds, repeat 10 times. Kind of like U10.

Charlie Wyke is a better CB.

Our best asset is Denver Hume. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays in the Championship next season.

Think Willis is a good player. I reckon if he was on a free today, he'd end up in the Championship.

It’s going to be a strange transfer window as their is going to be lots of players without clubs , as well as this if we move away from free transfers and look at low cost value for money players I think that quite a lot of clubs could be tempted to sell them on . A lot depends on the owner being willing to spend money , the recruitment team should already have a wish list in place and an idea on how much it will cost , we are already recognised as a big fish in a small pool so attracting players should not be a problem - over to you Mr Donald , Rodwell and Parkinson. Let’s think big and act big !

Wyke to newcastle for £30m (they were going to sign Kane apparently for £200m lol) so save £170m, keep Watmore, Kimpy, O'Nien, Leadbitter, Lafferty, Mcguire, Gooch, Power.

Basically they've got to decide if the team we have/had is capable of promotion with some tweaks and re-sign them, or its start again time.

I know that everyone will be 'bin the lot' and 8th place would indeed suggest that, but we were 2 points off 2nd, call it 5 with games played. Even one mediocre L1 striker, hitting an average number of goals, would see us promoted. That's one player. The defence were looking excellent once PP got them organised.

Start again and that will create new problems of the first 10 games being a slow start while they gel together, find the best 11 etc etc etc all of which puts pressure on the manager, and before you know it he's sacked 8 games in and off we go again on another ruined season.

We will only be offering 1 year deals either way as we will be wanting shot of some of them if promoted next season.

Pros and cons either way obviously.

Yes I have 2. No idea why you think that. Parkinson said we were activating the clause and o’nien said he was “delighted to be staying” I didn’t make it up so absolutely no need for a reply like that

apology. It was a one year extension and, according to O’Nien and the northern echo, he’s signed the extension

Misunderstanding. I meant because we wanted him back. Sorry, I thought that was common knowledge. What I should have said was "Oh that is a terrible shame; bollocks"
