We all know certain tv shows are no longer shown for fear of offending... just seen Ant and Dec’s tweet too: There’s also talk of taking down all ‘offensive statues’ round the UK so folk don’t feel offended. Where will this PC bollocks actually end? the pyramids being bulldozed because they were built by slaves? What next? put Prince Phillip to sleep as he once called blacks spear chuckers? Lots of tv shows and movies could now be banned so as not to offend they reckon.
Where it will end? Quite simply the basic right of "Freedom of Speech" will be eroded by stealth. If you don't agree with the cause, you will be the one being ostracised. It's been happening in Universities for years. The natural step to the next level, control the audience and stifle debate. Thankfully, I won't be around to see it, but, if your male, white and straight, you are in for one almighty shock. Of course, I may be wrong.

You still watch it on You Tube, we had the 1st episode on the other day. There's a good An Audience with Warren Mitchell stand up show. In this PC world, there's a fair few of the audience will be cringing at their reactions.
That's what makes me laugh. Alf Garnett was the butt of the joke. The comedy was laughing at the absurdity of his views. It would go over the heads of today's snowflakes.
