I was there. Can't believe it was that long ago.

The stadium was not cut out for a gig like that. Getting drinks was harder than impossible.

Was that the one with kasabian and the enemy supporting? Remember it being a very decent gig. Wasnt it pissing down? Dont recall finding it hard to get drinks but I was leathered to be fair.

I want to say kasabian and the enemy but I could be wrong. I was battered, went for drinks. The queues were so bad I missed kasabian's set

Reverend and the Makers supported too.
    Kasabian stole the show
Oasis split up a few weeks later

Didnt kasabian set have a small fire so they had to lose a couple of songs from set list?

I think there was some crushing in the crowd which led to a small delay

Fair doos. I had that another time when a barrier went at oasis at the Etihad. Lost 20-30 mins of their set as they had to finish at a certain time.

'The bars in the south stand have smaller queues'

Followed about half an hour later by

'The south stand is the one to your right'

I barely had to queue for a pint all day.

I loved their debut album. Follow ups weren't too bad but that first one was just raw and in your face.

Yeah the first album had exactly the same effect as the Arctic Monkeys first album. Both bands as good as they are have failed to match the first albums, but what albums they are
