Elvis and Sinatra will always remain in the very highest echelon of talent. To suggest otherwise is pure folly.
You call yourself "Moses" yet you can't even work out how to post a reply quoting a previous post on one of the world's top BBC 606 themed forums.
May have been some confusion. Only 3 CDs in mine. It’s this one... It it the Capitol Years only though. The good stuff...
No, I've played it. I like blasting out a bit of Frank now and then, though probably just about prefer Dean Martin.
I watched a documentary on Clapton the other day. His Enoch Powell-esque rantings were when he was utterly sh.itfaced on brandy, he'd turned to alcohol after kicking charlie and smack. All his dark friends forgave him knowing he wasn't a racist but was just a pissy-pants at the time. He'd be pissed before the gigs, come on for 20 minutes and f.uck off to get more drunk. Spent years with the horn for George Harrison's missus before finally snagging her then royally f.ucking it up. I'm not the world's biggest Clapton fan but his earlier "Beano" era was more to my liking than the later stuff.
Sorry I will try to do better. Would it help if I listed all the ****e I found in car boot sales travelling through the desert?
