There must 3 dozen people, on the boards, who know me personally ...

... they'd have pulled me up in seconds if i posted bullshyte mate.

Plus I'm well known at away games and wouldn't put mesel in a position whereby I'd have to deal with aggrieved people.

Just rambling a bit mate, I have a lot on my mind at the moment.

As long as what you have posted isn't adding to what's in your mind.

Genuine people appreciate your posting what you can, but wouldn't want it to affect your health

Just been looking at that carnage of a thread over the road with Madbob and it appears something has happened tonight whereby he's posted about Methven having cancer and somehow posted his phone number which has resulted in some people ringing Methven and giving him abuse.
If true about Methven then awful to hear and hope his health recovers soon but also outs Madbob as being linked to the owners as he stated Methven had asked him to put it out there.

Never once on here or over the road called out anyone with info, but Bob has my bullshit radar spinning.
I enjoy people posting what they have heard or a wee bit info which they will think/Hope is worth passing on.
The wums are seen through straight away, I have no doubt daft bob gets info but he’s away with the nutters if he thinks posting what he has tonight is of any use to anyone.
Anyway, today is another kick in the baws, safc ****ing up as per and me best mate, Quinny, me Cairn terrier needing an operation.

It seems so that he knows CM what he doesn’t know are that these people who he believes are his mates are using him to post **** and making him look stupid

I'm with @Guinness Guzzler on this. Unless something has changed, my guess is that FPP won't be making a move this summer as we're in L1.

Let's hope they do, but I still remain 80% Donald staying, 19.9% sold to someone else and 0.1% FPP decide to wade in.

Just saying, I know everyone likes optimism but there's still good things that can happen if they don't buy us, as long as Donald ****s off.

Well thanks Smug. I/we just want a glimmer of something ahead at this lowest point in the club's history. I witnessed the first ever relegation and have seen some ****ty times since, but this now is really something.
I'm working out how long it would take to get back in the top league if things started to go well.....I can't get to the games now so rely on broadcasts and streams and just hope I'll see some sort of turnaround before shuffling off.
Keep our spirits up Smug....it's appreciated!

Like I say the only hope I'm clinging to is that something might have been agreed about a future sale when the loan was made (we'll loan now, if you get promotion we'll give you more, if not we'll give you less). I don't know how likely or unlikely it would be, but if the loan was just a one off thing initially with no further obligations, I'd be surprised if they suddenly decided now to get involved. I get the impression that they want a good management team in place to avoid them being hands on, and I don't think any of the lot at the club presently will have impressed. I'm hoping I'm wrong like, I've been wrong plenty of times before

I think you're spot on, but yep, here's hoping there's something we haven't been privy to.

I'll be honest, I doubt today truly changes much though, I mean everyone knew this was the most likely outcome 2 months ago, it's not like it's snuck up on them. Hopefully the mystery bidders who spoke to the Echo are real and well intentioned...

I’ve got a horrible suspicion we are gonna get passed around like a cheap brass amongst a whole table of misfit owners, like Portsmouth and Charlton.

There’s not realistic prospect of a wealthy and visionary group coming in while we are at this level, not with the enormous running costs and the clear ill blood between the fan base and the club in its entirety.

Make no mistake the absolute **** shower will take tens of millions, instantly to just stem the tide, let alone turn it, we are in this for the long haul and we gonna have some torrid days before there’s an uplift.

I only hope and pray some mad bastard somewhere watches the documentary and spots the potential, it could be something as leftfield as that that saves us.

We all know with vision and nous the club could be a goldmine, who will brave it?

The other thing is, say we somehow got FFP through the doors, how long before they get pelters for not spending £30million in League One? There’s a balancing act for a supreme businessman to come in, there’s no easy way out of this league now as the calibre of the players, and the manager are at best second rate.

We’ve no young lads close to breaking through, the fan base is flat as an uncooked loaf, and the city is falling out of love with the club.

I guess it’s down to us to keep the spirit in the club but ****ing hell its hard. I’m seeing lads who’ve had season cards since the 80’s chucking it in and I’m gutted for them, I love this club and always will but I can’t see any appeal right now, I can’t see anyone in their right mind taking a swing, short of more blaggers hoping to ride off with a naughty little profit.

It would take 40,000 of us putting 2.5 grand in to raise £100million. Is that impossible? Could we try and start a motion? **** knows man.

I’d chuck 5 grand in tomorrow if I thought it was achievable.

I’m sure thousands would mate, but not enough, the money isn’t in the region.

A partial could surely be found, if there was a figurehead like the Fulwell 73 lads, they were close, something like that with 49% fan ownership or something?

Surely we, the fans, the mad bastards with the undying love can be part of the solution? I swear there’s a workable route in there somewhere.

The thread must have been pulled soon after your post as it has all vanished when I read this, what a bizarre thing to do tho....are you saying that Bob said he was given the go ahead from Methven to post that he had cancer and to make his phone number visible for everyone to see?

He was having a go at Sunderland fans about sending abusive messages to CM. He posted about Methven illness and the phone number was that of the person who was sending messages, he then threatened to post 3 more numbers of other people that were sending messages and the post was deleted
