Now that its confirmed that we'll spend a 3rd year in League One and Phil Parkinson has failed to achieve his remit of promotion that Donald and co set him, will he be sacked?

Do people want him gone and a new manager given a proper chance with a transfer window and pre season or do you think Parkinson deserves a chance?

Well, the whole regime has proved not to be good enough, Chairman, board and manager. Need another reset

I'm not gung ho Parkinson out like I usually am when I want change. I'm sort of torn on it.

If theres no change in ownership, I dont think I'd wish these clowns in charge on any new manager. Theyd be on a hiding to nothing, no investment, and 14 players out of contract. Next season will be more about staying in the League rather than getting out of it and I'm sure that even Parkinson is capable of that.

However, if by some chance the club is sold, I think that a new manager would be welcome

As things stand I'd keep him, he did ok considering he had bugger all to work with. I'd say we finished pretty much where the quality of the squad would naturally finish.

In the event of sexy new owners then I'd want a sexy new manager to go with them.

Out, but they won't pay to sack him, would no doubt get the next appointment as spectacularly wrong as they got this one, and they'd still give the manager no money to bring in young, hungry, pacy players. They'd get some boring ****er who knows Charlie Methven and sign a load of journeyman league one plodders and then look surprised when we don't get 100 points.

I would say yes, but only Donald leaves, otherwise we will just get more of what we have already endured - journeyman manager given no money so has to rely on L1 journey men out of contract or sent out on loan because their club doesn't want them and can neither afford to pay them off or sell them.

With the high number of contracts ending this would be a really tempting time to have new owners and a new manager.

The trouble is with next season still being a big unknown will SD be able to sell up, even if he was desperate to walk?

I feel it’s pointless changing the manager at this stage

Get rid for me, along with Del boy, Rodney and Co. It's nothing short of a disgrace that we are in this league for a 3rd season running. Del boy & Rodders should not be allowed to set foot in Sunderland again

I'm more in the don't care category at the minute.

I've lost all interest on the back of a lack of football, the season ending position as we deserved, the unknown for when next season starts and the disgraceful and shambolic handling of season card refunds and renewals.
