So if you vote Labour and the Tories get into power you have to leave the Country because you didn't vote for them? That's the logic there. If the overall vote was to finish the season by 12 votes to 11 the teams that voted to end it have to do what eactly? Take part because they are made to against their will or refuse to or what? Just because you vote one way and the vote goes the other does not mean you are excluded from the outcome. I repeat it is not Wycombes fault that they benefit from the overall decision of 23 clubs. No club, not a single one would turn the chance down if presented and you know it. I just can't see your logic.
The right thing should be to cancel it altogether. Status quo and start all over again next season all leagues to stay the same. It's called a season for a reason. Again football is being decided in a meeting room and not on the pitch.
If they ended the season with the current league placings, how do you think wycombe would have voted?
Fairness and decency goes out the window when ££££££ is involved, this will finish a lot of fans off in my opinion and you can't blame them.
Has it been disclosed who is paying the bill for the testing , I think we are entitled to know as it could be interpreted as a form of bribery - we want the season to be curtailed go along with it and we will pay for the tests ? I think the EFL have mismanaged the whole sorry episode as long as the Championship is ok we will just ditch EFL 1 and 2 . The FA is no better making things up as they go along , we will only relegate 1 club from the ladies super league and we will promote 1 club Aston Villa to replace them , No we will not relegate anyone from the second division or promote anyone to replace them WHY??? Sunderland ladies should have at least been interviewed to see whether they had the finance to participate but were never given that opportunity which is totally wrong and smacks of double standards . It will be interesting to see what happens about Barrow being promoted to EFL2 . If the EFL use the same logic as the FA they won’t be which again will be totally wrong , they are so inconsistent with making decisions it’s untrue !!!
The premier league was always going to finish they get looked after and sod the rest as far as the fa are concerned, this ppg is unfair as well, it should be done by a pen shootout as i have said that is fairer and will the championship finish ? Leeds and WBA up because of the legal cases thrown at the F A etc they don't want that. We are stuck in this division though because of last season.
League Two Clubs have voted by an overwhelming majority to formally end the 2019/20 season. The division had previously indicated their preference for curtailment but following today’s Extraordinary General Meeting, Clubs were required to pass a resolution in accordance with Regulation 9A. As a result the final League standings have now been confirmed meaning that Swindon Town have been confirmed as Champions with Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle securing the second and third automatic promotion places to League One. Cheltenham Town, Exeter City, Colchester United and Northampton Town will contest the Sky Bet Play-Offs with the following schedule agreed: 1st Legs Thursday 18th June Colchester United v Exeter City – 5.15pm Northampton Town v Cheltenham Town – 7.45pm 2nd Legs Monday 22nd June Exeter City v Colchester United - 5.15pm Cheltenham Town v Northampton Town – 8.00pm Final (Wembley Stadium) Monday 29th June 7.30pm Under the proposals agreed by Clubs, the 24th placed Club in the League Two will be relegated to the National League provided the Board receives the necessary assurances that the National League will start Season 2020/21 (i.e. the relegated Club in League Two has somewhere to play). Due to ongoing disciplinary matters, the final placings cannot yet be confirmed. please log in to view this image
I don’t agree with this method in league one purely because teams above us got to play Bolton’s kids and we played them when they had their heads back above water

Everyone was hammering Bolton https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/bolton-wanderers/scores-fixtures/2019-09
True mate but even if we'd beaten Bolton then we'd be on 61 points from 36 games and although we'd be sat in 3rd place our PPG would be 1.69. So we still wouldn't have been promoted. Truth of the matter is that although it is tight and there's lots of reasons why we may have finished in the promotion places there's clearly a lot of competition for them and a number of other teams who can feel the same. Over the 36 games that were played the team weren't consistently good enough to warrant it. The last four games before the season was stopped were two draws, two losses and one of the worst performances for some time - and there's been competition for that!
I'm not going to say we deserved to be promoted or be in play offs but how, in such a financially important decision, a team can go from 7th to 3rd (or whatever) is beyond me. Wycombe could quite have easily lost every game before end of season. The EFL can **** off
FFS what people are saying is wycombe voted to end the season but are willing to play in the playoffs , wrong In my opinion there's no one saying it should be Sunderland, all people are saying is they would have liked the chance to see how it panned out. Do you think it's right what's happened?
Look at the form of 3rd placed Oxford before the season was halted man. You'd be absolutely spitting feathers.
For automatic? Yeah, they could easily assume they would get top 2. Well if they voted for this and end up losing in play offs, balls to them.
Wonder if any of the incompetent arseholes who run the EFL want a job at Sunderland they would fit in nicely with our incompetent arseholes.
