leopardstown,2 30: i think,A NEW DAWN could be a serious player here.she had quite a nice first season last year, and her group/listed form is stacking up well, especially her third last run behind the useful cayenne pepper was a very good effort.so,with a mark of 102,she deserves her place in this field.good chance..
I think there is more to come from Made in Italy this season who runs in the 4.15 at Haydock. Won well at Lingfield last year and I've the feeling she is overpriced today.
well, open race, but VIRGIN SNOW is a daughter of snow fairy, who i really adored whenever she ran.yard knows the family very well, and her two starts last backend were not devoid of promise, especially her third to last weeks runaway newmarket winner run wild was pretty useful.should be competitive off this mark.
Peace Charter was never put into the race. She dwelt in the stalls and the jockey seemed happy to let her sit out the back. Right ou the back as the race started in earnest, she was still travelling well enough but then couldn't get any room to start a run. Eventually she did get some sort of an opening and she came through late to take 5th place. I though she, and Know It All finished their races in similar style and the difference was that the Murtagh filly came from a better position. Not to take anything away from Ron's Love Locket, I thought the 2nd and 5th shaped like the best fillies in the race. Tango was disappointing and this was a long way from being less than 3 lengths behind Love in the Moyglare. It is hard for me to get enthused about the quality of the race today in terms of it being a true Group 3. The winner was beaten off 84 in a Nursery when last seen and must have benefited from facing fast ground for the first time today. She had 16 lbs to find with Tango on official ratings today. Mind you the times seemed pretty slow today given the good to firm going. There must be something amiss given that today's Fillies Trial was given a time deemed to be 4.16 seconds slow. That suggests the standard time would be 1m 25.00 sec. I see no evidence that suggests that the standard time is attainable by any filly in the last 30 years.
Having a nibble on Rideson for the Varian yard, placed in all starts on Aw and Tapeta just needs to get her head in front. Money still coming for this one was 11/1 now a mere 9/2
When to put a bet on the next Varian horse at wolves Australis but missed timed it all - went on to win So here goes nothing Van Dijk 7.30 Wolves drifting alarmingly but will probably get the nod though var.....sorry photo finish, Stewards enquiry
Two places only, i'd call that a complete bust. On the plus side Roberto Escobarr is one for the tracker. Blew the start, hit a fair bit of trouble in last couple of furlongs but finished like a rocket to come 3rd once in the clear.
