Only four clubs are having Covid 19 tests - what a surprise or not ! Rick Parry and company have decided that the season for EFL1 is going to be curtailed same as EFL2 was so why go to the trouble of having a vote . You have to sympathise with Peterborough and several others but to be replaced in the play offs by Wycombe who don’t want the season to be completed but are happy to take a place in the play offs which I think is absolutely disgraceful and makes it much worse . Normally I would say let the best team win , on this occasion I find it difficult to wish them good luck as I think they are being very opportunistic voting one way and then doing something different - bottom line is I hope they get stuffed in the play off semi’s.

Disappoint that the likes of pboro and ourselves withdrew the threat of legal options, it gave Parry and the other free reign.
If Wycombe want the season curtailed they shouldn’t be allowed in the play offs and their place should go to Peterborough.

If they have any decency they would decline taking part in the play offs !

Wycombe should be thrown out of playoffs, no question.

They will get battered whoever they play anyway awful side who had incredible early season fortune and momentum.

Comfortably the worst side I’ve seen at SOL 4 could have been 20 if we hadn’t just training matched it after we’d walked over them.

Genuine question. Since when has fairness ever in it's history had anything to do with football? Is there any club out there who wouldn't take advantage of a situation if it was offered or allowed in the rules? Sunderalnd last season played their Z Team in the last game against Southend virtually giving them the match. This relegated Plymouth instead of them. The reason your club did that was to try to gain some advantage by resting their A players for the playoffs thus trying to gain an advantage. Quite legitimate in my view and most clubs would have done the same but was that fair? For every advantage gained there is going to be somebody else who suffers for it so who genuinely can put any blame on Wycombe. Would Barry Fry not screw his own grannie to gain what Wycombe has if the boot was on the other foot. Course he would as we all know dear old Barry for his non advantage taking of the past. It isn't Wycome's fault this pandemic came along and the season was ballsed up. Would your club refuse to take part if it was them? Come on lads we all know **** happens in football all the time and maybe you should just be thankful it isn't you.

Hold on a minute, who,s posted that Sunderland should benefit? Peterborough has been mentioned. I get your point but why have you put it on this board.

The point people are making is that wycombe voted not to play on but will quite happily go into the playoffs . Is that right in your opinion?serious question.

It’s not right but I wouldn’t give a toss if we got the nod.
Take every advantage you can get.

Any club that votes to end the season shouldn't be allowed to play in play offs as they voted to end.

    It's a piss take...

So why does no one want to finish the season
Is it because it’s too expensive for them
Or is it because you will be upgraded to a playoff place (Wycombe)
So cancel the season and play play offs with teams that voted to cancel the season so all of them could be playing in the play offs
It was always going to be that way
    IMO

So , if we'd done better in the cups, played more cup games, we'd be in the playoffs maybe ?

Season ended as it started complete farce thanks to totally inept overpaid leadership making all the wrong decisions, reminds me of something else but I cant think what.

Wycombe did not make up the how to end the season bit. It's ok for richer clubs to say lets play on no matter what the cost but for a whole load of others to play on would be hard to finance if they could at all. What some clubs appear to be saying by wanting to cost the rest money is feck you we want what''s best for us but you can go screw yourselves for our benefit. What ever happened to the greater good? When Bury folded there was an outpouring of pity for them. Nobody wants to see clubs go out of business and all that. Now when push comes to shove some want to add to the numbers of dead clubs simply for their own ends. How can anyone square that circle. I repeat the charge, if this was Sunderland gaining a place would you be so critical and refuse to take part? Would Peterborough refuse? You already know the answer to that so just because you think Wycombe are a crap club anyway is no reason to blame them for what is occuring. They did not create this scenario.

Nobody is saying Wycombe have created this scenario.

However it is bollocks how they can be allowed to vote to end the season, but then take part in the play offs. If you vote to end the season, that should be it. The place should then go to the next club in line - Peterborough on this occasion.

It is completely wrong. Either they want to end the season, or they don’t

EFL clubs have passed the league's framework to end the season. Seasons decided on PPG, play-offs won't be extended. Another vote this PM on curtailing the season but it's now all-but certain - #SAFC will spend a third season in League One.

    Coventry
    Rotherham

    PLAY-OFFS
    Wycombe
    Oxford
    Portsmouth
    Fleetwood

    RELEGATED

    Southend
    Bolton
