Woke this morning with this earworm I know nothing about Khurangbin or Leon Bridges but I do like this song
A late and boozy meal with Mrs B and the girls, so today definitely feels like an Aztec Camera Sunday... Was at this gig (in restricted view seats...but WTF?)..it sounds the same...right? Beautiful.
I heard this today and thought it was worth a share, brings back memories of donkey jackets ,dms and a small wool hat
Searching For The Young Soul Rebels was such a great album... At that time Bernie Rhodes went from (mis)managing The Clash to doing the same for The Specials and Dexy's. He was a complete ****...but he could spot talent.
I listened to an interview with Kevin Rowland and he had a lot to do with the demise of the bands he's been in , some times brilliant but mostly a complete nightmare and a clusterfuck rolled into one
It's finally dawned on white conservatives that Rage Against The Machine are a political band If only there were some clues in their music...
Note the Trump for President 2000 sign at around 1.04 in the clip. Michael Moore was directing and picked the most ludicrous symbol of greed that he could think of. Edit: I thought that you were joking about the American conservative thing. ****ing hell! Yes, I know my enemies They're the teachers who taught me to fight me Compromise, conformity Assimilation, submission Ignorance, hypocrisy Brutality, the elite All of which are American dreams
Today sees the release of the first single off the new Sensible Gray Cells album... I prefer the B side with....Shock horror....Paul on vocals. Enjoy...
I've been listening to a fair amount of Captain's solo stuff recently. I came across this... I went to a show from this tour and have posted a couple of numbers with Captain singing with The Glitter Band. I have no recollection of him doing this, especially with Paul doing backing vocals but I love it. Great song with 3 current Damned members on show doing it justice.
I loved those first few The The albums. They were superb. I know what's going in my tape player when the kids finally wake up...
I'm sure they got the riff from Teardrop Explodes "Reward" and also assured that they are Funky Drums
