According to the graph you put up it's exactly 32% black and 32% white in Chicago so if blacks aren't any more likely to kill people then the numbers should be pretty much the same.

In the USA, White cops make up 75 % and Black cops make up 25 % of the Police force.
Yet they equally kill the same amount of black suspects. Which means black cops disproportionately kill more black suspects than white cops. Only the facts matter:

If you don't want to get shot in America by police cooperate with them .
If a cop is pointing a gun at you and tells you to drop the knife , if you don't drop the weapon or follow instructions then you risk getting shot.

It doesn't matter what colour your skin is , if you commit crime and wave weapons around then the chances of you getting shot increases .

You could give every one of them a cheque for X amount regardless if their ancestors were slaves or not and it won't be enough.
