Who? I don't think the bulk of the debate is really about whether they have a valid point. More the way in which they have chosen to express it. There' is plenty of comment on whether british people should be behaving like this triggered by an event in the US. Or whether racism is the same here, or even exists.

Personally I think racism exists, is different here to the US in some ways, identical in others. I always believe people should be able to peacefully protest in a responsible fashion, regardless how its triggered. I just don't think violence, vandalism, looting, abuse and disrupting or affecting others (unless it relates to what you're disrupting/protesting) is acceptable. If we are just going to go mad max we are ****ed. There has to be a better way.

There are clearly a lot of twats involved, doing twat things.

Off the top of my head, I can recall 3 things which have got Brits onto the streets, which isn't really a Brit thing to do.

    1: Iraq war
    2. Brexit
    3. Police treatment of blacks.

I don't understand the last one at all. It strikes no chords with me. It strikes a chord with a lot people though. I think it's worth considering that they may have a point that I don"t understand.

I don't understand the police thing here, but then I don't experience it as a white man who has very little contact with the police. I've experienced good policing and terrible policing in my dealings with them. The difference seemed to be about the personality and approach of the policeman or policewoman. **** knows the bad ones may have had a bad experience. Hell it could have been right before I dealt with them.

This seems to have developed into a wider systemic racism debate. I don't think you can demand people to educate themselves on these matters as some seem to be insisting. But I must confess my own ignorance to any great knowledge on it. I think there is a wider issue, but one I think only education and time can solve.

I think criminals always revert to "why are you always picking on me" the reason is usually because they've broken the law.

Certainly but the wider issue of what drives people to crime is seemingly now becoming part of the debate. Blacks and ethnic minorities are one of many factions to be disadvantaged by the history, policies of the elite who rule. Just my personal view of course.

Easier said than done on the breadline I imagine. Again I wouldn't pretend to know. I know plenty of people who have risen out of poverty without crime though so I can see why people would say don't do illegal ****. I just think the way our society is set up, we do push certain people to it. I'd prefer it wasn't the case but **** knows how you change such entrenched politics etc.

I've been on the breadline, so I get that, but guess what? when I did something wrong I was punished just like everyone else.. I just don't buy into this nonsense that black people are held accountable in court to separate laws.... if I'm wrong I'm sorry but I just don't see it.

racism sucks just like all forms of discrimination

45901773-8CFF-4A65-8491-00E9D6EEBEF1.jpeg I don’t like violence at all, but if I were at the foot of this monument I’d crack some ducking heads here and throw those wet nose little ****s off it. Absolute ****ers. They are setting this so called movement back a long way right now. Vile cockwombles.
