The negative posters on here want the takeover to happen but have been worn down by past takeover failures and refuse to be optimistic, as they are used to their hopes being dashed again and the pisstakes that follow
I do hope it happens but am prepared if it doesn’t
On the plus side we could be a club who is on the verge of administration, have most supporters cancelling their season tickets and think the messiah could be a man who has sucked the life out of our club over a period of 13 years
I was a season ticket holder since school and stopped 10 years ago, as i wasn’t giving him any more of my money, the future I hope means I can return

If you want to post something sensible and reasonable then start another thread and keep those sort of comments to that thread. This is a football forum and we don’t want sensible comments posted on here. That would upset and confuse all the posters.

The Saudi's are definitely worse, we taught them well, but the FA won't give 2 ****s for that other than for PR purposes. It'll be about what it's always about, the money, in this case the loss of revenue through their state pirating. I'm interested in seeing what happens if, or when, the WTO report comes out and says they are behind the pirating, can't see the other 19 chairmen being happy about having a new owner in the premier who has illegally taken money due to them.

In all seriousness I have my doubts, always have. Just logically speaking there is a fair bit of mitigation required. You've got the saudis and their human rights record. this dead widow now, opposition from other clubs, I'm sure the current big boys are against it, its a sensitive time generally, the piracy, Mike Ashley...

The issue will be the degree of legal separation of PIF. Due to the money the Saudi's bring to the table, I can see them offering massive financial incentives to allow this.

Would people be happy if we got this American fella instead? I don’t think that’ll happen but there’s still that chance. My view on it really is if PIF got completed I’d be estatic, if the American got it I’d be happy. Simply cause I feel I’d take anyone over Ashley.

 

I probably would if it happened, but I would prefer not to even think about that and just have some clarity for a while.
