To people like Amanda Staveley and Reuben Brothers, being rejected as not fit and proper owners can damage their reputation. It is the PL saying that we do not believe you are competent in business and are dishonest. They can and will protect that reputation by sueing the PL.
This might be the funniest thing I’ve seen on this thread so far. The PL make the rules. If they don’t want someone to the party they just say no. It’s that simple. It makes no odds how much money they throw at legal action it won’t change jack ****. But.... for laughs and giggles please point me in the direction of one just one takeover of any club in the history of mankind in any league that has been rejected and then after legal obligation been retracted and approved!
That’s all well and good. But if there’s no pressure release or no official announcement. Which there isn’t. Then it’s all pie in the ****ing sky!
yeah I'm sure they would make claims, but we would still be stuck with Mike Ashley and it will be a nightmare... a real gut wrencher
The PL could be making sure that whichever way they go they need to be on firm ground legally. Approve and someone will be upset. Fail and they risk damaging reputations. Both instances require a solid legally sound approach to avoid comebacks.
I think I'll bury myself away like I used to in worms Armageddon with girders the lot once this officially fails
