And that no-one has said so and that’s because it suits everyone (Ashley/Staveley/PIF/Reubens) to say nothing especially those who have lost £17M and a great deal of face if it has been rejected.

Makes sense to me.

 

why does telling anyone make their situation improve?? it doesn't

 

And the problem is?

 

Because people will eventually know anyway. And by telling they can then also tell people what they are going to do about it.

Staveley is currently suing Barclays Bank for £3.6 billion. I don’t read her as a shy lass who will just crawl away.

PIF are not going to want to lose face to Qatar. They won’t just walk away either.

No announcement means it’s still on the table.

In answer to the first point if the takeover has been approved or rejected.

To the second point...????

 

Staveley, PIF and Reubens can and will sue the PL for billions.

 

they don't have to tell us to make a legal claim.

 

I would assume otherwise if it's blocked they must have found a watertight reason to do so..

 

If they blocked it then they have to justify why the failed Amanda Staveley and the Reuben Brothers. Not going to happen.

Staveley is suing Barclays for £1.6 billion. The PL are chicken feed. By the time Staveley, Reubens and PIF are finished, the PL will be financially bankrupt.

 

17m to them is like a 99p cheeseburger to us!
