Assuming we win the league with a few games to go it would be an ideal opportunity to give a few youngsters a run out, especially if 5 subs allowed. I don't think Klopp will be bothered about the record points thing.
50:50 mate. I was taking the piss because of previous conversations but it is unfair as it's different rules to ther rest of the season.
I think when you're talking about different rules you have to factor in the reason for the different rules, it's borne out of necessity. When the choice is to finish the games with some compromises regarding health and safety or don't finish them at all, I know which I would choose. Having more substitutes will help protect players from having to play too much too soon and their bodies having to cope with that. If it's the same rule for everyone then it's fair. Under normal circumstances there are only a few teams with depth on the bench so there's the same level of 'unfairness'.
How does it favour them any more than the bigger teams just being better anyway? I think the bigger teams will use the youth as the extra subs.
Same reason the Christmas fixtures favour bigger squads; they've got a bigger pool of players to pick from too keep everyone fresh. Their player quality doesn't diminish as quickly as you gho through the squad either. For example, Man City have a big quality squad and their second string could challenge four top four. Our second string would be lower half.
I have a solution - those clubs that don't agree with having 5 substitutes can have 3 instead That way everyone gets what they want and the disparity in quality remains the same as it always was.
Liverpool FC commences ticket refund process Following the recent update outlining the ticket refund process ahead of the return of professional football, Liverpool FC is now beginning the stage of returning payments to fans. As confirmed on May 26, all supporters who have purchased tickets from the club for any of our remaining four Premier League home games will receive a refund for the cost of their ticket(s). Refunds will also be provided for our away game against Everton, the Liverpool FC Women’s game against Everton Women at Goodison Park, and any car parking passes that have been purchased for matchday parking. We have now started the process of contacting each affected ticket holder to provide more information on the refund process. These emails will clearly outline the date by which supporters should expect their refund process to begin, dependent on the payment method used at the time of the original purchase. For supporters who paid by credit/debit card, we will attempt to automatically refund that card on a game-by-game basis, from the week commencing Monday June 8. Depending on the card provider, refunds could take up to seven to 10 days to show on the card used. Fans who did not pay by credit/debit card will be credited to the ‘Ticket Refund’ section within the Supporter ID ‘My Account’ from the week commencing Monday June 15. We ask that all supporters wait to receive further correspondence from the club and monitor monies being returned to their bank accounts before contacting us regarding refunds. Hospitality members are asked to await their email correspondence for refund information in relation to seasonal and matchday purchases. With regards to the rewarding of match credits, we will not be finalising any selling arrangements for matches in the 2020-21 season until there is clarity on how next season will proceed. Only once we have full clarification of the season will the sales criteria be assessed, which will include consideration of how refunded games will or will not be used. For FAQs, click here. All Liverpool home games will be played at Anfield - confirmed. Still no word whether our game against city will be at Etihad.
Closest to a home tournament we've had since '96 with all our group games at Wembley as well as both semis and final. Anyway only 24 qualify
Nah Europe's ****ed now we can win penalty shootouts On a more serious note, although I'm disappointed about the delay it's probably a good thing for us with the injuries we had and should give the likes of Mount/Sancho time to improve a bit more and become bigger parts of the team.
Proper sh!t format that. So many games at such a devoid of atmosphere stadium watching a pathetically boring England team. Couldn't pay me to watch that dross
