If the Championship clubs have to play their remaining 9 games in just over a month, that's 2 a week, they're going to face some pretty horrendous travelling. Motorways'll be clogged up with luxury coaches full of footballers going from one game to the next.
Apparently, you need ten of your players (from the 25 man squad) out with the virus to get a game called off.
If 10 of your squad have tested positive for Covid19 after taking part in contact training, then wouldn't the rest of the team have to self isolate as well? Asking for a friend.
The Premier League have agreed to five subs being used for the rest of this season. It seems the injury rate in the Bundesliga has been higher than normal since they resumed the season.
This list is doing the rounds on Twitter for the TV games but currently unconfirmed if this is true. The Villa/Sheff U, Man City/Arsenal and Everton/Liverpool games are already confirmed for Sky as is the Bournemouth/Palace game for the BBC as those are correct. Chelsea/Man City was originally scheduled for BT before the lockdown and is now listed on Sky on this list so it may not be real. The list does give an idea how how much football is going to hit our TV over the next month and how frequent it will be on. It’ll feel like the Euros went ahead with the quick succession of games (with the Championship games maybe also televised too).
