Bed and furniture retailer Durham Bed Centre is opening in the former New Look store on Whitefriargate (in one of the buildings Wykeland bought last week).

A new bar is also opening on the corner of Whitefriargate and Silver Street.

    So that's 8 bounties then?

    Full size?

Moist on the inside; firm, thick and chocolatey on the outside?

    How did you eat them?

I always go chocolate top first, nibble the sides and bottom.

Coconut remains chewed and swallowed in one mouthful.

    And repeat.

Covered with curry sauce first, obvs.

    How far O.O.D were they?

Any seasoned shopper in Stack ‘em will know what O.O.D means.

I bought 2 boxes of Alpen for a sov in the Stack ‘em on South Street a while back.

Well out of date but still edible.

    Just.

OOD is fine it’s only when they’re PTB that you need to be cautious. Still eat it ... just with caution.

Honey usually carries a best before date but in reality it's edible pretty much forever.

I agree. I’ve been eating from the same pot for over 30years.

Eating from the honey pot bears no relevance to whether the pot is OOD. The honey remains sweet.
