She had the over the phone diagnosis by a nurse on 111, but ha never been tested. She had all the symptoms except breathing difficulty and was very ill for 3 or 4 days, sleeping most of the time. Hopefully she will be tested in the next few weeks.
There were scum on both sides. I was pissed on and spat on, but there'll never be an excuse for the terrible loss of innocent lives. RIP
Garden work finished, just have to sort out the smaller pots and buy more soil for the new bed, then on with the planting out.
Yeah, our tram was attacked by Juve fans, and my then fiancée had to give first aid to some old Belgian woman travelling home who'd been hit in the face by an iron bar thrown by then. When the police and paramedics came, they said the Juve fans had been at it all day, and there'd already been several stabbings by them. I was shocked, as we'd been drinking with some middle-aged Juve fans in an outside café, and they were lovely. All that said, as the afternoon turned to evening, more and more Liverpool fans were getting bevvied, as I remember (including us, I don't deny). The song chanting was getting more aggressive too, as I recall. All that said, me and my girlfriend wept buckets when we heard people died, I tell you.
Garden is getting done, slabs everywhere. Difficult to get furniture at the moment though. Got some nice plants ready to go though.
Blue Diamond garden centres are having a 20% off sale of furniture at present. Now our garden is done we are looking at some new furniture as well.
Got two of them; a infant that's not even a year old yet and one that's probably 8yrs+ (only been at the house 3yrs). The latter is about 8ft with two strands coming off the base #lifestory
We have 3 Acers, I think they are ace. Red one was a rescue plant from a garden centre cost us 50p about 10 years ago. I would like to say I nursed it over many years, but in reality I stuck it in a pot and ignored it. please log in to view this image
Both ours are red. Got some red cordyline albatross to go with them once I've finished the front garden
All pots in their new positions, just need 2 ton of soil for the wider bed at the side of the house, then loads of plants as we have made the side borders twice the size they were. please log in to view this image
