You remain confused. The UK government fully backs all four parts of the UK but if NI felt they would be better off as part of an all island Ireland then let them leave.

This shows extreme arrogance to assume the UK public were uninformed just because you lost the vote, pathetic.

The U.K. Govt have already delivered on the result of the referendum. We’ve left the EU.

The U.K. Govt now have a responsibility to deliver the great trade deal with the EU that they promised they would do.

The fact that so many of your sort can’t seem to decipher the difference and are intent on a damaging no deal outcome - just because. Shows you for what you are, self absorbed societal vandals, who want to put a meaningless ideology before what is best for the Nation.

As for Nissan the CEO made your words from the other day look as economically illiterate and as deluded as they were, simple as that.

You need to change your language SH. The UK would no longer exist as a legal term if Northern Ireland left. It is, however, not enough for Northern Ireland to decide they want a united Ireland - the Republic has to agree to this as well. I would actually like Scotland and Wales to join this new country as well - along with Merseyside and the North East breaking off. In fact everybody can break off and join this new utopia leaving a wall around Berkhamstead (did I spell it right this time ?) and a few other carrot crunching Brexiteer enclaves.

Oh dear, Johnson has just had a major crash and burn moment. He really isn't up to this. When his own MPs ask questions that he cannot answer you know he is inadequate.

The UK remains the UK in it's present form. The Republic has long supported the IRA in its quest for a united Ireland. When it looks at the finances it might not be so keen. It would actually make sense for NI to join the South. The Scottish people turned down the chance to be independent because the SNP could not produce any financial evidence it could survive without the subsidies from London. Scotland's debt has increased substantially and the made up, inflated financial return from North Sea oil is now quietly forgotten.

No, you still cannot spell it properly, try Berkhamsted.

I maintain that under the age old legal practice of precedence having a special place in the English law books that most spellings are acceptable in this case. Since the writing of the Domesday Book there have been over 50 different versions of the towns name - so it appears the locals couldn't make up their minds ! I maintain that, once used, a name never loses its validity (law of precedence). Therefore the much older Muche Barkhamstede is just as valid. To say that such a spelling is now obsolete, would be as stupid as saying Shakespeare is obsolete ! The towns name appears to come from 'Homestead among the birches' - in German 'Heimat unter den Birken' !
