Images of Los Angeles and Colorado on CNN all showing huge numbers, all marching or congregating peacefully. Looking good tbf.
I'm watching what they're doing - marching or sitting outside buildings. Not sure if there's a purpose to it but if they can blockade public buildings or shut down specific areas of the city then it's all good.
It's an effective form of direct action. They gotta find a way to do something to bring about change.
I agree. But I learnt the meaning of the saying A Few Good Men after watching the movie, so I'm thinking they should do something. Fck knows, better than doing nothing.
I mean, yeah, you can't just ignore it passively, you HAVE to do something. Might be being too harsh, it could possibly make police chiefs say "hey, curb the violence, this big thing just happened so ****ing pack it in." But, as with all these US protests eventually the heat dies down, the memories fade and it all starts anew.
I think it will accomplish something Doing nothing guarantees nothing in return or they wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place
... and therein lies the Wiggy Satsuma's fatal mistake... he's lost a lot of Evangelical support with that crass stunt last night ... add to that a wave of now bothered to do it black voters on the back of Terence Floyd's impassioned plea and ... hopefully ... all the Wiggy Satsuma's birds come home to roost ... just a shame that he won't have to hand over the presidency to a black or Hispanic democrat come November ... but we can still hope he comes down with Covid-19 as karma goes
... that's because you are a bit thick bruv ... no shame in that, all men are not born equal ... as George Floyd found out...
Tenesse National Guard telling the Wiggy Satsuma to go **** himself by laying down their shields and joining the protest ... good lads
The reality is it's all just a TV show to us. It matters to them though. There's enough **** going wrong in the world and nothing changes bro. That's the sad thing about this all.
