I thought burning down the cop shop was quite an effective protest in itself, I would rather that than local businesses.

 

I was just surprised at the time. Ken Livingstone had been doing a really good job and Londoners over the years have generally been more liberal/left leaning. Supporting the unions, workers rights and public ownership. Boris was the opposite of that, Eton educated and born into privilege, and a bit of twat with it.

 

Currently watching CNN, all kicked off in the middle of the afternoon in LA.

The cop cars were torched in LA last night bro, you need to look at CNN, the British (BBC & SKY) news channels are not showing anywhere near half of what is going on in the states in real time. I looked at the news again on CNN this morning, more or less kicking off from Philadelphia to Miami, some peaceful, some with a few skirmishes. Lot of posh shops, such as jewelers attacked. I hope they think before they start attacking businesses again, especially those that are low paid. Even places like McDonalds, will be employing a lot of black people, it gets tourched, no work, no pay and they aint going to get any social support in the USA.

 

Pretty ****ed up but that was one hell of a shot.

I've seen that. Not sure what to think about it.

I've seen loads of bad **** the cops did like randomly shooting the reporters with bullets to spraying chemicals at innocent bystanders and suckies posting of them nicking their water and milk but in this instance, it was going to happen sooner or later as they boxed the copper cars in and sooner or later would trash them.

 

You do realise Bobby, they didn't have that water and milk to drink?
