Newcastle United has announced its financial results for the year ended 30th June 2019, which show a profit after tax of £34.7m.

 

I'm more interested in the lack of statement by Charnley that normally accompanies them?

I was talking about this today.
I'll be a little bit sad... but if it were well connected transport wise and we had, say an 80,000 capacity state of the art stadium then I'd say the pros will outweigh the cons.
I'd love for the Saudis to do to NCL what the Citeh owners did at Eastlands. Plenty of jobs got created which can only benefit the area.
Their stadium was of course an athletics stadium which was then converted so the thought of a purpose built beast with a new gallowgate with 20,000 baying mags with flags gets be quite aroused....

In life we sometimes need to take a step back to take two forward... unless we're literally on a cliff of course...
