Love Tangerine dream. First album I listened to was Rubycon. Hooked since then. Probably my favourite is Stratosfear.
Agreed on Stratosfear. Was the first Dream album I listened to, still the fave. Something about that front cover as well, really love it.
You may, if you haven't ever heard them, enjoy the following QC ? An old mate of mine - we played football on the same team in the '70's, used to play percussion with this band. Very talented musicians. This was their first album. Their leader, John Mills-Cockell, wound the band down and went into doing film scores. I had 2 copies of this album (vinyl) , and seemed to have lost both somehow. I contacted his web-site about 20 years ago 'cos I couldn't find a copy of the album. He sent me a copy that he'd only just released on CD. Talk about being chuffed. My wife, an ex-Ballerina- took me to see a performance that was choreographed around "December Angel" on this album. Superb it was. My mate sadly died ( he was a down-to- Earth cockney, about 10 years ago). RIP Malky ! It's an aquired taste - but if you're Tangerine Dream fan, there may be something in it for you ?
