Who'd have thought twenty years back that Murray would have managed to throw away so much popularity, and Simon Jordan of all people would have become resurrected thanks to publically exposing the likes of Duchatalet and Southall on talksport.

Bowyer has been treated pretty poorly by everyone above him at CAFC, pretty much ever since he took the job.
But he is in good company. All Charlton fans for a start.
Then there are the day-to-day staff, ex-directors...

Reams has said the Jenkins deal has fallen through. The idea of Nimer and Southall getting a 1m payout for the damage they have done is frankly disgusting. But while I imagine the state of our club makes a purchase by a sensible person difficult, Jenkins sounded like a chance to return to normality. For the moment, that hope has gone.

My stab is yes. If only for the fact there has been little to say of a danger to not being paid.

Nimer's? If so then at least he isn't a total a***hole.
    Or did he sell ESI?
I gave up trying to follow this sorry tale a while ago.

    I wish it was Roland's.
All that money he used to lose was a rare source of joy to me over the last 6 years, even though I knew he would eventually claw it back somehow rather than own his mistakes and write it off.

Highly unlikely that we are staying up, so probably not going to happen.

If we are relegated or kicked out of the league, knowing that the old Scrote has missed out to the tune of £1.5 million will be a silver lining.

so from bits i've read. ESI cannot be sold till the 8th June... they had to give MS notice or something. hopefully this hold up is enough time for the welsh guy to make his mind up.

straying from the thread. looks like championship football is back on the 20th

What I can see happening is the games on the 20th being played, after these games the players going to the EFL and say that this is not safe... the EFL have a meeting with the Clubs and agree that the season should be stopped.

Basically we have one game to retain our Championship status, beat Hull and we move out of the bottom three.... simples

I know I tend to be Mr Glass-half-empty when it comes to Charlton's form this season, and Hull were just about the only team in worse form than Charlton back in March when games were suspended.
But Hull will be just as aware as Charlton of the possibility of the resumption of games in the Championship being abandoned.
They will do everything they can to avoid losing.

I believe two Hull City players tested positive for COVID19 a couple of weeks ago.

This whole situation is beyond bizarre.
The EFL wants ALL remaining Championship games including the play-offs completed by the end of July.
That is a window of 41 days.
So they are expecting teams to play Saturday / Midweek / Saturday / Midweek continuously for five weeks.
And maintain all safety measures to avoid infections?
And with hundreds of players out of contract?

It beggars belief that this is being allowed to happen.
"We listen to the science" say ministers. Show me one scientist who is OK with this.
The Government is obsessed with distracting the public with the circus of televised football as quickly as it can, regardless of anything else.
Distract and Deny seems to be their new policy.

    Disgraceful. #moneybeforelives

In Germany (since the resumption of football) the away teams have been far more successful than the home teams, I think it was 5 home wins out of 28 games played prior to this weekend.

Are season tickets going on sale in a few days time?
That's usually accompanied by some positive sounding rumours.
I'm waiting for Jim White's verdict.

And have the EFL lifted their player registration embargo? I assume not.

    We also have a 5 year plan already;
