Pics of the last, or best, bargain you had ... anything is relevant as long as it was a bargain and made you chuffed <cheers>

Pissed eBay purchases would have been a good one tbf.

Or ****e you’d bid on and prayed you didn’t win.

I 'bought' a 1979 Landrover Defender on ebay after a night on the lash. One of those ex army canvas top ones. It was in a god awful state after being sat in a barn for 25 years. It had a really low bid on it, so in my pissed up state, I thought I'd jump in and get it for £500 and then spend a bit doing it up, have some fun with it and then flip it.

When I woke up in the morning I'd 'won' it and somewhere in the night made a £5000 bid ! I had to sheepishly apologise to the seller and fess up what had happened. Tbf, they saw the funny side of it and didn't grass me up to the ebay police.

Far too easy to keep hitting that zero button when you can't see the screen straight. <laugh>

I’ve never typo’d the wrong amount, but years ago I was a twat for bidding on random **** that too much Merlot had convinced me were ‘bargains’. A couple of highlights being a ****ing speed boat, and a grand piano - I don’t sail, and I haven’t played piano for 35 years. I was sweating my nuts off the following day as I got close to winning. Fortuitously I got ‘pipped’ on both, so I avoided losing my testicles.

Nothing to do with bargains, just like this photo. Following on from the lifeboats station stuff.

    <laugh> A ****ing speed boat.

Sounds like one of those episodes of Bullseye when somebody from Grantham wins a ****ty little speedboat.
