It seems to me that it's contrived outrage, aimed at publicising the journalists/media outlets and to get the usual noisy but small sector of the public frothing away.

One source prints that 5 million people have landed in UK airports from abroad during the lockdown period, but one man driving in his car, for a bad reason, warrants a public investigation into his urination frequency over a 5 hour drive...

I was asking what you expect the Govt to tell you about schools?

 

They’re not similar.
What Cummings did was dangerous and increased the likelihood of infection spread

 

They could have asked more probing questions as to how they had come up with the June 1st date, why the had chosen the years groups they did, would the opening be reversed if cases went up, how schools would provide safe social distancing for the kids attending, would parents be expected to send children back or is it upto individual families.... There is literally 100s of questions that could have been asked that parents would want to know the answers to. Do you honestly not believe that these kind of questions should have been asked over the same question about DC over and over ?

Should the 3 labour MPs who broke the rules be sacked? Why hasn't the press made such an issue about these 3?

 

Lockdown finished here a month ago, schools and kindergartens are back, majority of office workers are back. Social distancing still advised in public places and most supermarkets have antibac at the front of stores. Family members allowed to congregate, and groups of friends numbering under 5, but parties forbidden. Pretty much left to the population to be responsible. From anecdotal evidence, it seems mainly teenagers and street alcoholics and drug addicts who are breaking it. It's permitted to sunbathe, go for walks, go to parks etc as long as in family groups or number under 5 and are 1m apart.

Infection rate has continued to drop to the point where planned mass testing has been cancelled because it's not worth the money. If the borders stay closed until August, the experts believe it will have burned itself out and gone.

 

Do you honestly believe he shouldnt be questioned !

We have a very very limited skeleton staff back in our office now, no more then 10% of normal capacity In each area etc
