Good Morning All And how are we all on this fine day.Which is to be known as national Badger Day. Why!!! i hear you say well it be ole Badgers Birthday today. Another year has been and gone.A few less hairs on top.And what is left on top is starting to go grey.Few more wrinkles and dont seem to ave as much energy as befor. But do i give a fook nahhhh not me. So today lets ave a party and some fun .. So theme for the day is Happy Leeds Days memories ... So i'll kick it of with one of my happiest memories being a Leeds supporter. Start of the 92/93 season as Champions. The Charity shield against Liverpool.. 4-3 to the mighty Leeds A bright sunny sunday afternoon it was and the lads gave a performance to be proud of. And a fine hatrick from a certain French man..A Leeds hero at the time but sadly not for to long that season. As he went to the dark side ,Well the red side Grrrrrrrr. And as most of us remember not a good season for the White's if me memorie servers me right finishing 17th that season..But hay-ho life went on with plenty more ups and downs since then.. So Song for today choice from ole Badger is... Leeds United Simply the best. Cause no matter how bad things get they are to us M.O.T.
Sorry Elland beat you to it today..LOL..Up early as couldnt sleep... To excited about all me B/Day presents LOL...Just a big kid aye..
H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y ------------------ ------------------ Badger, you beat us to it, we were goin to give you a Birthday mornin all thread...
Morning Badger. Happy birthday. Morning YNBK. Best Leeds days - 3.1.2010. Getting off a plane & finding out we'd hung onto our lead. 9hrs on a flight not knowing the result wasn't fun though. 1992 - Boring the ar%e off mates in a pub in Asia/Europe after we'd won the league. 1972 - Sniffer's goal. Can't remember much before that to be honest. Promotion from the old league 2 would be in there if I could remember it.
Mornin Boggers, kissa and Badger (who's probably fallen asleep, after being up most of the night), I remember being like that on Christmas eve, eventually falling asleep at midnight and waking up all hyper at 5.00 am
HAHA What teams we all fancying tonight for accumulator? ill pick a team from each person and then whoever loses I can blame
My best leeds memories have to be January 3rd, Bristol Rovers and the first 13 unbeaten games of 07/08 season.
Xmas Eve...Elland Road....1995......Beat the Scum 3-1 Best Xmas Present EVER!!!!! ------------------------ Elland Road Vs Bristol to get promoted back to Championship ------------------------ Arsenal Away @ Emirates ------------------------ Tranmere Away 1st game in League 1 ------------------------ 1-0 Vs AC @ Elland Road, and beating Besiktas 6-0 the week after.......26th September (11yrs yesterday!!!!!) ------------------------
winning the league...watching rocastle play..beating man u in the cup and winning 5 quid off my man u supporting mate
What about beating Anderlecht away from home 4-1 especially as the Anderlecht Manager was saying how useless we were. Never forget the size of Koller who got the concelation goal, he was huge....
Jud Arsenal away was brilliant, where did you sit? did you see that ****er in the white jumper trying to give us leeds fans **** and we wer taking the piss outta him? they where by far the worst home fans ive seen
Happy Birthday, Badger, morning everyone else. Couple of favourite memories - Yeboah's hattrick vs Monaco and the 4-3 against Liverpool. The Liverpool one particularly satisfying as I lived with a Liverpool supporter who was an absolute ****.
Radebeer, the Yeboah half volley from 30 yards that went in off the crossbar and post, and the look of a 'thing possessed' as he celebrated that goal
I forgot to include that goal Elland. Reports elsewhere are hinting that we may have unearthed a long term successor to Yeboah from Zambia or Zim. If true, can they try & find a successor to the Chief as well..... PDQ!!!
