There's an article on the BBC sport page at the moment about the greatest individual performance by a single player in a game. Which ones would you put forward for City games? Boaz at Spurs and Duane Darby against Whitby Town are the immediate ones that spring to mind for me

Definitely Myhill v Spurs, he stopped everything with everything, including his face, at least once!

Dele Adebola, for being so slow he missed a sitter against us at Wembley.

I think that's why we signed him, it was a debt of gratitude <laugh>

Myhill's save v. Watford in the first leg of the play offs was up there with the best of them.

Young Dawson had some great IP's - vs Arsenal in 2008 when he had the lightning quick Theo Walcott in his pocket for most of the time he was on; vs M'boro in the 2007 FAC replay, two goals, one a stonking free kick and another good all round game from one of our 'bottom to top' legends.

Saw several in the 60s but more recently Craig Folan up front at Bradford, he was like FC possessed, their back 4 did not get 2 touches.

    For City?

Myhill vs Spurs is the ultimate.

Here's a completely serious suggestion - Alex Bruce vs Liverpool when we beat them 3-1 at the KC. He has Luis Suarez, then the best player in the league, kept firmly in his back pocket all game.

    Just don't tell Charon.

I can think of many individual moments in games where players did a brilliant thing, but over 90 minutes Myhill's performance against Spurs is tops for me.

Ashbee vs CP in the play off season, drove City forward from the get go. Bullet header at the death from the corner for the winner.

Can I nominate a greatest sub performance?

13th Jan 2007 at home against QPR, they went 1-0 up and them attempted to time waste for the entirety of the second half. Stuart Elliot came on at 80 mins, scored at 85 mins, then again on 90 mins. Never did a team deserve to win a match more.

Good shout….never has the title DQPR been deserved the most..John Gregory turned them into a Swan Lake act. Going down at every opportunity. Furlong was the worse if memory serves.

Elliott had quite a few games during that 3 year period where his physicality and head dominated defences and won games, whilst the rest of the team were average.

Was that in the 0-0. Colin was DQPR manager. When the queen made the I'm coming off sign, I even think Col laughed.
