    Wolves vs Newcastle next week.

Now if we win that, and Chelsea draw in their away game to Bolton, we'll be 3rd! <diva>

Now if we do win, we're guaranteed 4th for another week, but even if we lose, these results could go our way to keep us 4th for another week regardless:

Everton vs Liverpool - Draw or win for Everton.
Tottenham vs Arsenal - Arsenal win, draw, or Spurs to win by 3 goals or less
Swansea vs Stoke - Swansea win, draw, or Stoke to win by 5 goals or less

If any of those results happen, we keep 4th, no matter how well we do next week.

It would be nice to go away to Egypt in 4th, something to brag about to people over there if they bring up Newcastle but we'll see what happens.

I am happy with a point to be honest.

I think we've got more than enough quality to beat Wolves, but it won't be as easy as Blackburn. I hope Kelvin doesn't injure anyone though!

Always happy with a point away from home, though I think we will get at least a draw.

It'll be a tough game, but I like our resolve at the minute. I think in terms of creativity we have the edge, I just hope Wolves don't cripple that creativity - literally or otherwise.

Wolves are like the bizarro version of us, the teams will clash and it'll be a close game.

For the love of god don't play Ben Arfa...

QPR went there and beat them, i like to think we can and do it in style. Would love to see us win 3 - 0 as it would make more people take us seriously.

Completely unrelated but it fits here the most, but I've just realised that the League Cup final will be played on my 23rd birthday. Any chance of us being there?

The last thing I want is for teams to take us seriously. I'm happy that there is barely any coverage on us, means less tips for the opposition.

I think it's a tricky game. Wolves have had a couple of poor results including losing there last 2 home games. They will be desperate to put that right.

Last season we got a 1-1 draw, if we're going off our results last season we would have 3 points from the games we played so far (Fulham 0-0 (h), Sunderland 1-1 (a), Arsenal 4-4 (h), Blackburn 1-2 (h) Villa 1-0 (a). NB: Not including QPR.)

We have bettered all our results from last season. On that basis a draw is the minimum we should expect.

Does football work like this? NO
Waste of time that then? AYE

I'm not fussed, as long as we get the three points, and take one step away from the drop zone, and one closer to Europe!

I agree the less coverage the better and not to p**s on anyone's parade but January not far away(transfer window) and with us having 6 outstanding players at the moment plus 2/3 just settling in/coming back who knows how good we could be come December

Assuming we only lose by one goal ourselves. <ok>

The next three games are winnable, I know it's a lot to ask but I'd like to see us stay fourth without relying on other team's results. Ultimately we're not going to finish there, but it's nice to hang onto it for as long as possible.

Tough game on Saturday. Wolves have lost 3 in a row and rarely do teams go 4 in a row....

I will be happy with a point at Wolves, they are a decent side. At this early stage of the season 4th place means nothing to me. Several teams have had brilliant starts to a season and still ended up getting relegated.

We should be aiming for a win really. That's my honest feeling. Out of all the games we've had, should our unbeaten streak end at the hands of Wolves? That just doesn't seem right to me.

I think the ball is firmly in our court for this one. We have the quality to win, but it all comes down to whether we turn up on the day. If were switched on we'll win, if we're not, we could very easily lose.

When going into games like this I always look at the opposition's record, if you win this game it would be Wolves' 4th consecutive loss in the PL. This doesn't often happen. But I think you will do it. <ok>

sounds like classic Newcastle (although us beating Tottenham, then losing to Wigan to end our unbeaten streak sounds even more like us)
