Boris is a narcissist that is he does not perform unless the baying a**eholes behind him are feeding his ego
Today the BBC reports: 1 in 6 Londoners have had the virus compared to 1 in 20 elsewhere . Given those stats 17% of London adults had been infected, which compares to only 4.3% in the north-east of England. Maths has never been my strong point, but is that a worrying stat/trend?
I'm little interested in who's in power as I don't live in the real world ... ... but this has been fascinating. The PM has looked like a playground bully who, without his gang behind him, looks lost and a little frightened. Looking back on the election etc, he's used silly little 'jokes' to smokescreen his lack of knowledge and facts. As this is a situation where he daren't joke, he's suddenly exposed and floundering ... ... although tbf his ministers haven’t fared much better.
The greed , lack of understanding, awareness and empathy from some of these self serving w*****s is truly staggering.
what worries me (although try to avoid info overload). is the constant differing info from sources where you wonder if people are just making up or speculating. The 1/20 figure ( app 3mill). figure follows The Mirror a few days ago who reckoned 19 m have had it . It’s not the lockdown which is wearing me down , it’s the different stories from every tv news, paper , internet news headline , latest ‘modelling’. xyz university et al . And that’s before the govt says anything
Unbelievable really, get voted in by your peers then decide you know better than those same people who voted for you. You're the representative and mouthpiece for the people whether you think you know better or not. Not going to happen sadly .
To be expected to a degree due to the nature of London travel and such, but it’s a speculative figure, they haven’t tested enough to know this. It is, yet again, misinformation. I don’t think for a second that stat can be accurate.
please log in to view this image This assessment of the Prime Ministers character is why thousands of Britons have died unnecessarily. The Tories own this, they installed him as leader of the party, they must have known his character failings and that he was unfit to Govern. At the next round of local elections I expect the voters to wipe out the Tory Party as a show of their disgust at how they have handled this crisis. Thanks to @Conspiracy Theorist
I don't get this 'Corbyn' wouldn't have done any better argument tbh. The PM and government was elected as the best available, I'll go along with that. But that doesn't excuse the current incumbents for so many glaring misjudgements. It's like saying my wife is excused burning my tea because some other lass might've given it to the dog.
The difference between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn : Jeremy Corbyn is an idealist and principled. Some of those courages of his convictions probably get in the way of being a leader, but at least he is honest in what he believes and says. Boris Johnson will say whatever he thinks people want to hear. He will float whichever way he thinks will be to the advantage of himself. Neither of them will go down in history as great statesmen but I know who would trust more as a friend.
You're perfectly entitled to support a racist, terrorist sympathising tramp . . . . that's your right, to trust whoever you want
You've just perfectly described Boris Johnson, he's a racist, terrorist sympathising tramp as well as a blundering moron.
Absolutely perfect response. He’s also a serial adulterer, and profoundly work shy, as shown by his ****ing off cobra meetings to go on holiday.
