Started off pretty bumpy in our house, my daughter did not like the fact that her Dad had suddenly become her teacher. But bit by bit we're getting there with it. There's a definite line though, if I push it too much then it just ends up in tears.

I've told the truth all along mate ... even allowing for some manipulation of figures by the Chinese (and us) their Government has handled this way better than ours due to fast effective lockdown and testing, resulting in far fewer deaths ... not sure why you can't accept that and why me reiterating it bothers you so much ... even you must now realise how utterly crap, disjointed and inadequate the UK's response has been?
I qualified the 'xenophobia' comment yesterday conceding that 'deep and irrational mistrust' was likely a more appropriate (and politically correct) phrase ...
As to numbers ... China doubled their figure from 2000 to 4000 to take into account deaths outside of hospitals ... the UK government is saying 35k (and initially were not including those outside hospital in figures) have died from it yet excess average deaths to 8th May are actually 55k ... whichever way you cut it our numbers were just as unreliable as China ... so what's the real reason for the 'mistrust'?

Between his mum and myself we do some reading, writing, numbers n art stuff. Not always...it's not regimented.
He's only 5...I let him roam and be free. He's very good at some PS4 games...knows his prayers and is getting into kicking a ball...he's defo learning things. His spatial awareness is superb...that's thanks to Lego marvel super heroes.

You can only walk around the perimeter, as it's been an RAF base since the war, I think.

and today i had my 4th or 5th visit from wheelchair services and quelle surprise he had the forks but not the bearings but after convo with his base assured me they had them and he will be back first thing tomorrow . As for the back they still haven't got the parts apparently .
Only good thing was me and the engineer trying to decide which of us had the lower opinion of his employer ........... He just won .
