No doubt about it. That whole Italian Serie A thing with Juve and AC Milan too. I don't think it happens in the PL though
...and on the subject of sad fans You're the one who stomped in here like a teenager who lost Fortnite privileges for a week and got very, very upset at the notion that anyone would dare criticise Man Utd, and given how dead your board has always been it's pretty obvious who can get wound up in an empty broom cupboard So let me break it down for you: you started this, failed to realise that the people who post on this board are so far above your **** that it's not funny until it was far too late, and now you're too dumb to scurry back into whatever hole you crawled out of because you not only embarrassed yourself, but it pisses you off how badly you embarrassed yourself Just so you know, I have a name for posters like you, and you know what that name is? "Breakfast"
Let's tally the number of posts since the first time your mate popped by, eh? Me: 13 Diego: 18 Treble: 19 So are you saying that you and your mate are both 50% more wound up than I am, or are you both 50% less tolerant of different opinions to yours?
Nope, we have been answering several different posters and still have less than half your words between us Wound up really tight
That's odd, because it looks to me like you're answering the same question from several different posters Do you know what that question is? I'll tell you "Why are Man Utd fans so thin-skinned that a bruise is potentially life-threatening?"
But this forum is still thriving, guess I just assumed that all clubs had a busy forum like this one.
It's thriving in a bubble mate with 3 or 4 people backslapping. I believe in modern parl it's called an echo chamber.
Really? I see plenty of people posting on a range of subjects, not just football, but other sports, politics and music all covered along with our love all things Spurs. And you know that there are plenty of discussions where we get a cross section of views especially regarding our owners and manager.
I have seen threads where criticism of owners and managers have almost got posters banned as well a thread where 1/2 posters got banned for suggesting you should sell Kane (it upset some delicate souls but had good merit). You have lost some really good posters too, hopefully they will come back when football resumes because i actually like this board and many of it's posters, like the Liverpool board it's active and usually has normal people to talk to.
This I wasn’t having a dig, I genuinely didn’t realise until I looked earlier that a lot of clubs on here don’t have an active board. I think Spurs could never play again and we’d all still post and talk on here.
As opposed to your board, which simply echoes if anyone says a word in there based on how devoid of any form of life it is...
That's partially true but misses out the critical point that the posters in question were acting like dickheads. That, rather than their views got them banned. I'm all for free speech and just ignoring those who are incapable of reasoned debate with respect and a sense of humour. One of the people who got banned, sent me some PM's expressing his disaffection with me and my views in no uncertain terms...I sent him back some laughing emojis and he put me on ignore. It worked for me. I'm 99.99% anti-Mourinho and wouldn't have appointed him and would have sacked him for a couple of things that he's done already in press conferences but I can happily co-exist with the pro-Mourinho posters and they with me. It's not the views themselves, it's the stuff that comes with them. P.s. you're right about this board being a decent place to be, it is.
Nobody has got close to being banned for criticising the owners or any of our managers, nor for suggesting that Kane is sold. You should be well aware that it takes a lot more than that, given that you've never even received any sort of warning on here.
Feels like an age since I last predicted an XI. Seen unconfirmed whispers that Son and Gio may not be 100% so unsure as to whether they're fit to start or not. Ideally, I'd like to see: Hugo Aurier, Dave, Toby, Sess Gio, Sissoko, Tanguy Bergwijn, Kane, Son However think we'll see something like: Hugo Aurier, Dave, Toby, Davies Tanguy, Winks Lucas, Lamela, Son/ Bergwijn Kane
This is getting exciting isn’t it?! Actual football to watch. Lloris Aurier Toby Dave Davies GLC Sissoko NDombele Son Kane Bergwijn This is what I’d like, though like DH says there’s potential doubts over GLC and Sonny. I fancy Mou might sneak Skipp in for Sissoko as well, he appears to be a big fan and is closer to an actual DM than anyone else in the squad right now.
Leading up to this week everyone fit...leading up to the game..probably start dropping like flies Spurs are back
