I think he was quite courteous of Moyes in the way he described him. Reading between the lines, he clearly thought he was a **** without any idea of football. He was correct.

‘We could see the quality wasn’t as high’

N’Dong for Yann was about a 30% overall hit for the team.

That was Moyes ‘doing my thing’. ****ing imbecile.

Well, I suggested that none move dropped the whole team by 30% mate, a handicap in real terms of about 3.5 players.

It was a deliberate calculation, he was dog ****.

That's not being fair to dog ****.

To think we had him, kirchoff and Kahzri then.......

And Kone was a monster under Sam. we were close mate. Sam would have added 3 more and we’d have been decent. Christmas to season end we were 7th in League.

The frustration with M'Villa is that everyone called it at the time. It was clear that he wanted to come to Sunderland and was going to be better than anyone else available for that sort of money. Moyes was unlucky with Kaboul and the main person I blame for Kone is Kone himself - his angled for a move and then played poorly. I'll read the article later (not read it yet) but Kirchoff was injury prone previously and was always a bit of a gamble, wasn't he then injured (or struggling for form post-injury) for most of the relegation season?

ps. Don't get me wrong, Moyes was a disaster but i just don't think it can all be blamed on him.

Sam used all of the tools to manage injuries, track record of extending careers and managing knocks.

I think I read that his son or some family member was heavily involved in the development of sports science and as such Sam was cards in with it, and it worked.

Kirchoff was a lovely player. Effortless.
