Within minutes of this being announced on BBC Radio Humberside a Leeds 'fan' is ringing in slagging City and Ehab off and claiming every leeds fan is opposed to this.
It does if you read more recent articles... https://www.hullcitytigers.com/academy-quartet-sign-deals/
Great move by the club. Pissing off Leeds fans is a bonus too. Obviously anyone like that ringing in should be questioned in the usual manner about which part of Leeds they grew up in etc, roundly abused if the answers are not sufficient and even if the answers are it should be pointed out to them that their views aren’t relevant in our area and they should ring Radio Wessie instead
I assume both parties would have to agree to this which is where it is likely to fall down, especially in Ehab's case
He's no great loss - his attitude last time I saw him play stank the place out - he's just a **** Ben Arfa (a REALLY **** one).
Lets be honest, its the right thing to do if we're talking about people's health. But... im sure we can all agree if we were 1st or 2nd in the league and looking nailed on for promotion Ehab would NOT be insisting the season be voided. Im also pretty sure he wouldnt have sent this letter if we were mid table.
Does anybody know what it's worth to the club for finishing the season as I reckon extending the players contracts must be fairly costly
WE ARE DISAPPOINTED THAT A LETTER WHICH WAS INTENDED TO REMAIN PRIVATE BETWEEN THE EFL AND OTHER CHAMPIONSHIP CLUBS HAS BEEN LEAKED. IT IS OUR VIEW THAT EACH CLUB WILL, QUITE UNDERSTANDABLY, HAVE THEIR OWN VIEW ON THE SUBJECT OF HOW AND WHEN TO RETURN TO PLAY FOOTBALL AND WE FULLY RESPECT THAT. The privacy of discussions between member clubs and the league is paramount to ensuring honest and open debate. As such, we will continue to engage in talks in the correct manner and will not enter into a public debate on the matters in hand. Our primary concern throughout this difficult time has been for the health and safety of our players and staff and that will continue to be the case.
