They don't lock down Australia because they have poisonous creatures ffs .
It's way more dangerous driving or having a shower but people still do knowing the risks of crashing or slipping over.

Gates has already told us we have a dark winter coming where they will probably let off another more deadly bio weapon .

The people wanting to stay locked down are mainly civil servants and others getting paid most of their salary from tax payers.
If no ****er is working or paying tax then we just borrow and print even more money that will **** us for decades.

Apparently it's only mongo brexit voters that want to get back to work and get the economy going, the smart remainers want us locked up in our homes indefinitely giving up all our rights to big government tech companies and Billionaire software developers with a eugenics fetish.

And just think when it is all over the money that we will have to pay back! Income Tax will go through the roof and we will be ****ed over again. Suicides galore.

Is it not a vicious circle though? We could blame the furlough scheme for making people lazy and not wanting to go back to work, no working and no paying tax etc so putting strain on the economy. Without it though a lot of people would become unemployed meaning even less working and even less tax being paid, most of the nation claiming benefits. So the strain then comes through the benefits system which lands at taxpayers.

If people want to take the tiny risk of coronavirus and return to work they should be allowed.

I agree, especially those with their own small business etc.

I just don't think it's as easy to say people have become lazy and putting a strain on the economy by using the furlough scheme, without which the majority would become unemployed.

I'm not saying that , I'm saying that civil servants on full pay with no risk of losing their jobs are in no hurry to return.
    #notall

Labour are encouraging workers to strike and refuse to return because they know it will destroy the economy and make more problems for the Tory scum

The unions message is dangerous ...

If companies open up in line with safety recommendations then workers should return to work ...

Sadiq has mismanaged the TFL into bankruptcy, but that's OK he wants to pedestrianise London and have everyone walk or cycle to work.

Most of my team, who have been paid in full since we closed a couple of months ago, are saying they won't come back because there are still too many other people on public transport and they stand the risk of getting the virus.

To paraphrase one chap "I don't care what the Government says, there is no way I am coming back to work until this has all blown over" Not exactly sure what his definition of all blown over is, perhaps after a significant period of zero deaths, zero new cases and a cast iron assurance from Bojo that anyone trying to get into the country with a sniffle will be shot.

Another said "My son-in-law who lives with us is a Doctor, I don't want to risk catching it and giving it to him in case he passes it on to sick people at hospital"

In short we appear to have turned into a country of utter pussies who have been waiting desperately for something like this to happen just so they have an excuse to sit at home eating themselves into a sugar coma.

Of course they are all using the fact that one of the team died from Covid related complications as justification for their unwillingness to get to work. I knew from the start that this would be used as emotional blackmail

I've said before that Socialism is an excellent idea providing everybody who can does their bit. Only problem is the truly needy are far outnumbered by the lazy, feckless, layabout, workshy c.unts who make the whole idea pointless.

    London is probably unique

elsewhere , places are opening to those who drive

public transport in Scotland is being used , same levels of service -reduced capacity (due Reduced workplaces )

    walk

    bike
