Genuine question.....just read an article about how the Tories are gonna be having to find £300 billion to pay for this **** going on right now. Meaning raising income tax, stopping the pension triple lock etc etc. Is the British public a very fickle beast and is this gonna cost them a lot of votes in the future ??
Forgot to mention the public sector wage freeze.....amongst many other things. That’s what I mean Bracknell, where many possibly voted Tory, especially further north, because they were promised a more prosperous future....now it ain’t gonna happen, will these voters return to Labour ?
Fair play to Sunak for extending the furlough scheme, but the question of how it's all paid for will be fascinating. There will be no mood for the kind of unfair austerity imposed by Cameron and Osbourne.

Government - "When you hear the sirens, take cover." Morgan - "What do you mean, cover?" Kuenssberg - "Can I drive to cover?" Burley - "Why have you not purchased more cover from Germany?" Starmer - "It's racist to call them German bombs." Peston - "Ummm...."
TBH I missed it and had to rewind... so just finished. Yeah same as last week, Starmer asking usual stuff. Could have pressed more on one question. Boris just batting them away. I said before Starmer shouldn't be losing PMQs at the moment. He has a win/win situation. Anything the government gets wrong he asks why? Time will come when Starmer needs to make his own opinions and that's when we will see if he gets things right. A bit of a cheap shot about not working with other countries... I am glad Bojo put him straight on that because we are working very closely (according to David Milliband).
