What I’m saying is that there’d be a potential impasse in that situation. The FA can’t dictate PL policy, and the PL can’t override the authority of the FA. It’d be an absolute mess.

Now, the rest of the clubs have supported their concerns by voting likewise at a Premier League meeting today.

Top-flight chief Richards Masters said: "Everybody would prefer to play at home and away if at all possible, and it's clear to see some clubs feel more strongly about that than others.

"We are in contact with the authorities and listening to that advice, while also representing club views in those discussions."

The government's previous stance was that the only way the season could be completed was at neutral venues.

 

TBF I don't see any mention of other businesses having to work at neutral premises in Boris's roadmap

 

If the PL decide against relegation this season the FA will disband the PL and our top tier will become the Championship

The fact is that the government has cleared the way for the neutral ground plan , but the club's have voted against it, so unless the government has said it's fine with the games taking place at home grounds then we're no further fwd and Liverpool fans have gone too early on celebrating again
