I trust absolutely no ****ing information coming out of that there China whatsoever. Seen it happening in SausageLand though but it's to be expected as people start to move about more. Until people can be tested we should all still be as vigilant as we have been and only go out when necessary and avoid contact with people not in our own households at all costs.

I'm sure I read somewhere about travellers coming into the UK would be quarantined for 14 days, that needs to be in place before any travel back into the UK is allowed, not weeks after otherwise there's no point.

I also noticed that BoJo has had a hair cut....bet his ****ing missus never did that with the clippers!

It's never gone away in China. They have just fuddled the figures as a PR stunt. Those bastards need brought to task for this.

Travel back to the UK has been going on since the whole thing started. The only quarantines required were people coming back from Wuhan and Italy, but both those were dropped weeks ago. Over 100000 people have arrived in UK over last few weeks - obviously they have been under the same stay at home policy as everybody else but no quarantine.

It makes sense to put a quarantine in place as flights start ramping up from countries that are easing their lockdowns.

What is the point of putting air travellers into quarantine, the virus is here and will mutate over time and we will have to get on with life at some point despite this, the sensible long term target is to limit contact with the vulnerable as much as possible but it is inevitable that just as with flu every year there is a seasonal increase in deaths. I gave up my working life six years ago to take on my mothers full time care and this does scare me that contact could lead to her death or mine but at some point the country needs to start working again, we have to accept the risk and shore up the economy, if people can go jolly around parks then they can go back to work.

Its an odd one that. Someone from New Zealand, where they had 2 new cases yesterday, spends 14days in quarantine, whereas somebody from France, where they have had 137000 cases and are are still getting 400-500 new ones per day, can just walk in.

I know, isn't it strange how countries with ageing populations that heavily impact the economy seem remarkably slow to react? It's almost as if the odd, contradictory messaging is designed to obfuscate the situation, so those who may be more easily confused might relax and expose themselves to more risk than they should.

as expected ... there is no solution to this other than to try to control the numbers through the medical services and to keep at a manageable level until there's a vaccine .. those thinking the lockdown was anything other than doing this were way off. They will use lockdowns like a valve on /off to control the numbers through the system until a vaccine is found ... if it ever is.

When I was out yesterday some dirty fat twat coughed and gobbed in the street as I was walking behind. He was with someone else, had he been alone I might have set about him. Dirty filthy scumbag. Big ****er he was but unfit. About 60. I'd have hoofed his kneecap to bring him down and then spat in his eye.

It might be more advisable to keep your distance.
