So basically in a nutshell, Stewart Donald was not rich enough to buy and or run SAFC. He then contrived to "buy" the club with it's own future income. To prove to the EFL had had sufficient funds to buy and or run SAFC he contrived with a rich Uruguayan bloke to be his mate who would provide funds "as and when needed". But the Uruguayan bloke only "invests" £1 into the club with the promise of 20% of any future sale of said club for giving him credibility to the EFL . Nothing suspicious at all about that.....
I think they were always going to get us just as I thought weve got more **** to go through first to force Donald's hand. Think hes desperately trying not to lose money as he wrongly banked on us going up last season.
I do love the fact we are all trying to force a positive out of this latest **** show. We are good eggs
I used to know, for sure, what was going on and was given the green light to say so, just like ALS, etc. FPP registered at the SOL, went to the EFL, engaged people in football to advise, etc. Then it all went mental and now no one is sure. If FPP don't take over I'll give up hope and just go to the games, support the team, meet the lads and forget about progress. It's that important in my opinion.
I think the fact FPP I have said nothing since the whole thing started speaks volumes and that’s why I am still hopeful they are still at the table
They could've easily just walked away, sent a 'thank you' to the supporters and vanished ... ... but they're still there as the majority investors.
I read that on here or on RTG at the time too. I think it was at one of the SOL talk-ins. Maybe he has abandoned that idea if he really is selling for less now, but of course we will have to wait and see if that is what will really happen. To add my 2 cents to speculation, the only reason I can think of to remove the inter-company debt obligation and then also say that FPP has asked them to do it, is if FPP really asked them to do it. And the only reason I can think of for them to do that would be if they really wanted to buy the club at the lower price and not pay Donalds higher price which includes covering the debt.
It's impossible to figure out what's going on isn't it. I think Donald was being deliberate when he mentioned FPP again recently. For some reason he's letting the supporters know that they're still involved. I can't get a word out of the people who might know something, which I've chosen to take as a good sign. Also something, as you say, has prompted this change in the 'debt' situation ... ... I don't have a clue what is happening but I know its not nothing. Methven seemed sure that they'd be gone by the end of May, times ticking.
