BBC now reporting that another Brighton player has tested positive -- despite all the precautions in place regarding training etc.

I know what you mean, Zogi. That will be the charge against every fan of any team that's in danger of relegation who thinks the season should be halted until safe to begin again. The truth is, I wouldn't want to restart no matter what position we were in, until the risk is significantly lower.

Just recieved an email from Carrow Rd saying they are starting the process of reimbursing current season ticket holders for missed games.
They obviously have no confidence in this season being completed.

can we read that much into it? I think it’s been obvious for some time there won’t be any fans going, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the matches won’t be played

The FA Cup quarter-finals have been rescheduled for the weekend of 27-28 June with the final set to take place on Saturday, 1 August.

FA chief executive Mark Bullingham said the dates are "dependent on all safety measures being met" with venues and kick-off times yet to be confirmed.

The semi-finals have been rescheduled for 18-19 July.

Got my letter from Carrow Rd today with rebate options for 2019/20 season tickets.
My rebate is £220, so I will be taking the money

League 1 has decided to curtail it's season finishing the rest of their games on a points per game basis meaning 1p5wich finish their season in 11th place. Agent Lambert your mission is complete. This will see Norwich as the Pride of Anglia next season and our unbeaten run against the binners continue <cheers>:emoticon-0165-muscl

Ryan Fraser is expected to reject a contract extension with Bournemouth, leaving them without a key creative player for the final 7 games of the season.

From a Norwich perspective, that's excellent, from a sporting perspective, ridiculous that issues like this haven't been ironed out and the competition is being treated as still valid.

How could it be ironed out DH? The player is out of contract. He can be offered an extension, but he can't be forced to accept the offer either by the club, the EPL, or the FA.

The simplest answer is that it probably can't be, which is why I personally don't feel there's any sporting integrity left in the season. West Ham (for example) could buy their way out of trouble by making contract offers to Fraser, Foster, Gomes, etc which robs rival teams of key players for a significant chunk of the season. And similarly safe teams can let contracts expire (Newcastle have 13 senior players out of contract at the end of June) and play the kids.

I don't know how it would work with employment laws, but some rule that players moving between Premier League clubs must have been eligible to play the final fixture of the season, with an x match ban for next season for breaching that? I'm sure there's valid reasons why it couldn't be achieved, but I'm surprised there's been next to no discussion of it.
