Well, Methven has already said that us northeasterners don't understand business hasn't he? I'd imagine it will all be our fault for not understanding how them trying to make a £25 million profit and pissing off FPP is in our best interests. If we could only keep our noses out, everything would be ok.

Believe me, if this report doesn't say FPP wanted a full takeover I'll eat humble pie til Christmas.

This is going to get very ugly very quickly. No smoke without fire with the amount of articles coming out.

The report in the Times have pretty much said that already, untill they found the 20 million pound hole... If FPP are not still available I'd be worried

Nah, balls to that Smug. No need for humble pie. It is obvious that FPP always meant to takeover. These articles where they are saying buyers have been dissuaded by a £20 million hole in the accounts only serve to back up the info you were giving in good faith.

Here's hoping FPP are still at the table here because if not I fear this could go the same way as Bury.

I don't think SD has got anywhere to turn, with these story's coming out more fans turning on him, no idea when stadiums will be open again, he's surely gotta cut and run.

Like how they say the club has had £11.5 million investment from Madrox - £10million is probably the FPP money. The rest is probably from ticket sales. Donalds not putting much if anything in.

Can I get just add a note of caution
The author of this article is Craig Hope who from memory has never had a positive word to say about Sunderland
I do have concerns but until we see the actual accounts can we wait before we form a lynching party
I know this is not going to be popular but I for one would like to see the actual accounts

Just hope this is not correct

So I understand, but are they just picking up the story from Hope and running with it?

    I honestly don't know
