I read somewhere that whilst the fans are clearly happy that their club is being taken over they will be very much making sure that their new owners will be held to account regarding human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia

This is only the beginning. Leeds will be next. PSG owners buying them over the summer if promoted. Their fund is worth $338 billion

It's easy for the fans to say and I reckon the head of the NUST (who i think is the guy who said it) means it when he says it. The truth is though that there's no realistic way to do that and even if they could most fans aren't going to care if they start pumping money into the club.

There's still a lot of variables in this yet, I'll believe it when it happens.

Most won’t care as long as they are splashing millions and competing for trophies. Sad but true

Think people are forgetting about ffp, they won’t be able to go out and splash hundred of millions of £s. They’re gonna be 2nd/3rd choice for the top players who will prefer the Man Utd and city even the London clubs will be more attractive to them. They’ll get some decent players in but they’ve had that type before and done **** all. Personally I cannot see the takeover happening but if it did I’m not worried about who they get

My post was meant to be read with a heavy dose of sarcasm! Although if it was us no doubt as fans we wouldn’t give it a second thought either, because football.
